Sounds awesome honestly. I love watching stats build-up. It's one of the reasons I have a soft spot for NCLs. Watching them go from 100 stats to 1000 is really rewarding.

Oh for sure! Training up my lionesses and patrolling with an old sub male was what got me into stats. Now I really want to breed a clean lined stat monster! I enjoy a long-term challenge!

I'm actually almost on my second generation. I'm working on stats, but also trying for certain appearance goals.

My current goal was all royal-maned so I have a decent little heir from my current king and some clean-lined ladies for him.

So how you are planning to do yours? Are you focusing on the king and just training up new NCLs for him each generation?

Yeah I'm focusing on my king, training up some NCLs. Once they get to a certain age I'll breed them, keep the best stated cub, train him up and then king him when ready.

I really need to get a new design for my king, but I'm terrible at that sort of thing! Will get to it one day.

That's a good idea and keeps the bloodlines clean too. Plus there's something really rewarding about leveling NCLs up.

So in honor of Kingborne, I decided to give myself a challenge since my king is getting old.

Meet the next king, currently called "Brokentooth" but may change that later.



He's a groupie with fairly low stats (51) and I'm going to patrol him for 40-45 days (basically until my current king is 15). My goal is a minimum of 10 patrols a day so 400-450 patrols in all by the time he's kinged.

I'm going to see how high he can get by then and once he takes over, I'm going to customize him and find some pretty NCLs to be his pride. I may try and snag some nice ones with Exclusive Markings this month and store them on my side until he takes over. Not sure yet.

My goal is similar to Crotanite's. Get him as high as I can and keep the best cub as heir. For fun, I might also add some "Survival Mode" as something to do since it'll be basically just NCL cubs and not like I'd be selling them a lot. Just something to do for fun while leveling and have a little story about his final, strongest son "moving on" to his own pride (and getting more NCLs, etc.).

Yep, I burned through that quest pretty fast!

And I love what you're doing with Half-tail, its great to have someone else who's doing similar stuff to me. I recently bred my top two hunters to get an heir. Currently Crassus I will be my next King, but I'll really be putting all my work into Ragnar who I have already customised and given a lil back story. Once Crassus reached 15 years as King, Ragnar will replace him. This means I'll be able to patrol for a whole 10 in-game years with Ragnar, then de-age him to 8 and (hopefully) this will be near April so I can then de-age him down to 6!

Yes, I'm super attached to little Half-Tail, although I want to give him a "better" name when he's king. I haven't picked the perfect one just yet though. I have a little story for him in my head as well that I need to write out.
