***I'm aware that I need to update the base groups due to new bases being added. Its...a lot of work, and takes a while. I have to find the time to be able to. Ok so. The genetics don't make sense rofl. WHY is Black a Countershaded base but Solaris and Ruffian are Solid??? That makes absolutely NO sense. Why is Hellebore a Solid when it's nearly a recolor of Hallowed, a Countershaded? I suggest bases be grouped the way that they actually look, instead of (what I assume is actually happening) "Well this group needs more so... here??". If a group needs more bases, make bases that fit into that group. I suggest that when/if this is done, a bunch of bases be released to fill in some missing places, like in the Red Solids. Might this disrupt a few projects? Sure, but it makes more sense. From the perspective of a newbie, I'm sure, as it stands, the grouping is EXTRAORDINARILY confusing and difficult to grasp. Even as someone that has been playing for nearly 5 years, I'm constantly surprised by how the admins choose to group bases that clearly do not go into the group they've chosen. Here are how the groups SHOULD be, I believe (excuse the bases not being in common/uncommon/rare/special order, I frankly just didn't have the strength to fix it rofl) Black Countershaded; Black Solid; Cream Countershaded; Cream Solid; Gold Countershaded; Gold Solid; Red Countershaded; Red Solid; |

Support! I really only commented because of the meme, though. I honestly fucking spit my soda everywhere and I'm not exactly proud of that. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support. Don't know much about these bases and genetics base wise but it might be difficult for the admins to just pull out of a hat. ^^ 0 players like this post! Like? |

The only problem with changing the genetics up is that it will mess up people's breeding projects. This already happened once when genetics was overhauled. That's really the issue I foresee, which would be a real bummer :( 0 players like this post! Like? |

It'd be a one-time change, and after that hopefully the admins would stick to it. I understand it throwing off some projects, but the shades don't really matter so much that it'd completely ruin them. Some of the colors being changed would screw some people over, but in the end it'll be a whole lot less of a headache in the long run, I believe. It'd be much less confusing for new players trying to learn how the genetics work, I can't imagine being new and trying to figure out what system they're categorized by. 0 players like this post! Honestly, I'd be totally willing for my breeding projects to get messed up/my needing to replace gals for a project if it meant this sorting system. Like a lot of things about the genetics, it bugs me really badly. If Labradorite is a solid and not a countershaded, then countershaded needs a better definition. I support all the way. Red and Gold Solids need some more love that is actually true to their colors, shades, and types, but support all the way. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree with Lady Argent. I'd be completely fine with possibly needing to change up some things here and there for my projects, if it meant the genetic groups making more sense. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I definitely support, especially in light of Locust and a few other new bases being introduced as Solids. I have nothing against the bases, but I'm scratching my head at them being labeled Solids when they so clearly are not. I understand Solids can have a faint/light gradient, but when it's an extremely noticeable gradient of multiple colors it's very confusing to see it called a Solid. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The admins put the bases in the group they believe it belongs in and They're not going to change that. This is just my opinion 0 players like this post! Like? |

See, but they don't belong there. This suggestion is to change that, not to cater to what the admins think the bases should go. They do not actually play the game, the players do. 0 players like this post! Like? |
