Everyone knows that a cub gets the bulk of it's training stats from cub training. So that makes it really crappy when you have an important cub that just wants to be a miserable failure. For example I had a cub that failed it's training four time in a row. Luckily it wasn't a super important cub because if a cub sucks like that, there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. So how about an item that allows you to bribe your cub into trying again if they fail. It would only work if the cubs failed, so if you got only 2% training, then you got 2% training. I was thinking this item could be for the the Champion Shop in the May event since it would make perfect sense. An item to help train your future champions. It would make people choose between several of these useful backup items or a lion scrote. As well as prevent people from using it on all their cubs, it would be something you saved for only the most important ones. So what do you think? |

I like the concept, and I agree that some cubs that you need to succeed won’t stop failing, but what if instead of an item, it’s a new personality? Say, once a day(or maybe a bit more, twice a day?) you are allowed to give a second chance to a cub that failed in cub training. Like, the title could be “Encouraging” or something along those lines. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 03/09/18 @ 21:02:48 by Mackenzie (Interstellar Pie) (#137494) |

I've had so many of my cubs I was hoping to train just...fail so badly. I would love to be able to try again, sometimes. So support from me. Edit: I like Mack's idea too. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 03/09/18 @ 21:01:12 by Kit ~Chancellor~ (#61961) |

I am concerned that being able to do it once a day would be a bit much. That was why the idea was for something that you would have to carefully ration rather then just use it pretty willy nilly. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 03/09/18 @ 21:03:23 by Katia (#134163) |

I understand that, but I’m not sure many people would buy this expensive item over lion scrotums(saying that it was put in that event). 0 players like this post! Like? |

I didn't say how expensive, I was just implying that if someone bought several of these, then they might get one less scrote. I didn't mean to imply that it would cost the same as a lion balls. Fixed my first post to make that a bit clearer. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 03/09/18 @ 22:35:15 by Katia (#134163) |

Sounds cool! Also pointing out Scrote is misspelled in your main post ;) 0 players like this post! Like? |

I like the idea a lot myself. I wouldn't mind it being a once a day for a cub thing, but maybe it would have a slightly reduced training percentage if it succeeded? Maybe something like -1%? So you would still get at least a chance of more training, but reduced if you used the item? It could be something like a Juicy Bone or a Special Treat. Maybe the flavor text could be "Cub was reluctant to train again, but was convinced after you promised them a Special Treat." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Well if it's an event item only then I think the reduced training percentage might be unnecessary since a person would have to give up currency that could go towards a lion scrote. Now if it's something that purchasable year round, then sure, though I would rather it removed the chance for 7% maybe 6% training success rather then a flat -1% since it would suck to use one only to get +1% for it. 0 players like this post! When we have a personality for punishing lionesses for failed hunts, and for lowering energy loss from battles, and gaining energy from claiming, I don't see how a personality that allows you to do it once a day would be too much. I think an item might be a little too limiting, a little too spaced out. We already have the fruit that allows you to add 5% to a cub's training, so in a way this item already exists. But a personality that maybe lets a failed cub retry once a day wouldn't be too bad. If hyperactive can get a free 30% energy once a day, I don't see how giving one cub a chance to train again (and possibly fail a second time) would be too game breaking. But I definitely support the general idea. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The difference between this item and the existing item is that the 5% counts more as adol training which doesn't give much stat wise. It's cub training that provides the vast bulk of stats obtained which makes for the fact that there no way to make up for bad rng suck. Now the reason I made it an limited item is because I thought the staff might be more to accept the suggestion under those terms. They have nerfed stat gains once before when they thought that it was too high. So by that logic they may not be willing to do a personality that allow you to redo 1 instance of cub training every day. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Personally, I think that what we have now is good enough for statting up cubs in training. I can't see the point in buying an item that raises cubs' training when you can consistently raise their stats with honeycombs or egg yolks. An alternative, yes, but if you fail to reach the stat limit, then it would be a waste of event currency. HOWEVER I do support the idea of giving cubs another chance at training as a personality type for your king. There are similar personality types that allow the players to do certain things once a day to further advance in some areas. I feel that with an Encouraging personality, it wouldn't affect the role play to harshly and still feel balanced - as long as you roll and train frequently. Plus, you could get some cute flavor texts of lion dad and his kids. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Vael I would be fine with the personality type, I just don't know how likely the admins will go for it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

if it is used as a personality type I can see it being named Encouraging for females and determined for males, 0 players like this post! Like? |
