So, @Ash (#145189) and I have come up with an idea for studding. Well, technically two ideas.

These are the ideas:

You would be able to put a player's ID in a section in Studding, and you would be 'whitelisting' them. That means if they requested Studding from you, they would not be charged. This would be great if you've decided to give friends or other players (for whatever reason) free breedings, and would save the hassle of either refunding them or going through traditional breedings.

The other side of the coin would be blacklisting. All Studders have their own rules, and with quite a few that I have seen, the punishment for breaking those rules is being banned. That would be another section in Studding, where you enter the ID of blacklisted players.

I was thinking both blacklisted and whitelisted players would have their own unique studding message. For example:

(Whitelisted) Player #(number) has send you a breeding request! However, they are whitelisted and if you choose to breed with their lioness you will not be paid! This is the lioness(link), and you can accept/reject here(link)!

(Blacklisted) Player #(number) has send you a breeding request! However, they are blacklisted and that means they could have broken your studding rules in the past! This is the lioness(link) and you can accept/reject here(link)!

I get that this sort of thing might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I still feel that it would be useful for players that want to use it.

If a no, why? I'd love to hear your feedback!

If a yes, an explanation and/or constructive criticism is also welcome! I'd be interested to know what people like the most about this idea.

Support so much, I give reduced or free breeds to new players to help them get on their feet, but it's really hard to do when they're usually broke and can't afford my fee in the first place

No support due to the white listing part sorry; The black listing part i support however the white listing is just a pointless edition, seems like something hard to code and we can already just accept the request, breed the lioness then send the sb back to the requester.

@Sorrelfern {WCU}
I can see where you're coming from. Whitelisting is mainly for convenience, and for those occasions where neither side can afford to:
a) send over the SB, or
b) send in a request, then have the SB sent back to them.
Your opinion is valued, though, and will be taken into consideration!

P.S. Thanks so much for being the first 'no support' to explain why, rather then dissing and leaving!

On the fence. Not going to give a no support, though. The main reason is due to the Code of Conduct, where it clearly states you can't blacklist people, so I'm not sure where this would fit into the rules.

@Aly/Relic
Ah, thanks for pointing that out. I must of missed it. I believe that still having the option to accept anyway would help. That point is about insults and personal attacks, and this blacklisting feature is supposed to help studders block people that have broken their rules. I hate to say it, but there will probably be people that will abuse a feature like this, but I'm not sure what I can do to prevent that.

But if it was purely insults and personal attacks, why would it directly state blacklisting as well under that branch? I'm not sure on the terms in relation to a suggestion like that, which is why I pointed it out/am asking. And people already do blacklist privately, whether they're not allowed to or not.

No problem Gael, it frustrates me too when people don't support without explaining why since it can provide good advice to the suggestor.
