Hey! So I'm a DU breeder (or was, anyway) and own 6 DUs. They were all bred before the % drop. As of late, I've been pretty frustrated because I literally have better chances breeding a a leopon from a purchased heat than I do from my own DUs. That's because pons have that 5% pass rate that is unaffected by mutation item. To even get that 5% pass rate from my DUs, I have to use a lion scrote. I think that DU should either be a naturally passing (at 5%) mutation or that the pass rate should be raised to 10% or 15% with a lion scrote. I understand that the 25% pass rate was a little high since you can affect 5+ cubs with the scrote, but still. 5% is too far and puts DU breeding past difficult to damn near impossible. Please comment why if you do not support. Thanks. AMENDED: Perhaps an Oasis item could be introduced that functions like a Pennyroyal? Boosting the passrate to 15%? |

Please. It was such a drastic change that I refuse to even bother breeding my DUs with lion scrotums because the odds are so low  0 players like this post! Like? |

I have used a lion scrotum for 4 heats on my DUs and didn't get a single mutation with 6+ Cubs born. That's a waste of 52gb. 20 for a buffalo scrotum and 32 for lion scrotum per heat. And I feel because of the pass rate the value for DUs has dropped also. I bought my DUs for over 100gb, and I just sold one for 60gb. There isn't alot of DUs being born since the Nerf. Soon the ones that were born during the DU boom will be to old to breed and there might not be anymore born to replace them cause the mutation to die out. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Ghasia, that's been my worry exactly. I'm not even necessarily using them to turn a profit - I haven't sold a single one! I just like them because they're so useful for base breeding! 0 players like this post! Like? |

@chroma I didn't want to sale her. But i needed the gh to be able to buy another set of items for my mottled rosette DU heat. I couldn't wait for this mutation to arrive as I breed for rosettes and was so tired of seeing 1 Cub litters. Now it's hard to breed to build up a pride of Dus. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support, sure it’s more similar suggestions but, the more the better!  I have only breed 1 time after new change and now nervous cross my fingers for the AMP been another DU. Peronally, I like the rarity and I like the difficulty, DU is an extreme privelage, I don't think it should be able to be easily re-bred from an existing DU. I'd appreciate something to remain sacred and luck based. Especially something that can boost the base (no items added) odds of a mutation or certain base by as much as 50 percent. People who own them can feel even more proud of them, and value stays good. Plus I believe the purpose of them wasn't to breed more DU's, it was to allow opportunities to breed multiple special cubs in one litter, which it does in excess. 0 players like this post! @Kazimir So... like a leopon? XD Most of what I'm saying here is that it's ridiculous to have to use such an expensive item for such a small chance. It's like if a GMO cow only had the same chance as a CRB. I just feel like the chance should be a wee bit bigger than 5%, or it should pass naturally at 5%. 0 players like this post! Like? |

But you could potentially get 8 AMPS, special bases, b muties, combo bases or lethals, or any combination of those, the rarity of which can vary from 5gb-100gb+ each. It's about using it right and to it's fullest potential not just focusing on breeding another DU. 0 players like this post! @Kazimir True! That is what I use my ladies for - I've baschanged all of them to specials for breeding purposes, one of them is the mother of my sunrise king. Having the passrate only be 5% using a scrote is very nearly the same rarity of breeding a leopon - and I know we can all agree that a pon is more valuable than a DU. However, breeding a DU is almost as hard as breeding a pon, AND I have to use a pricey item to do so. Perhaps DUs could get their own item in the Oasis, much like Pennyroyal exists for primal kings? 0 players like this post! Like? |
