So I am a person with poor health (both mental and physical) so I sometimes have to take a stretched amount of time away from devices, or sometimes I'll have a week packed with appointments so I can't be online at all (Some appointments are out of state so I have to wake up early to drive for hours and by the time I get home all I want to do is sleep). I have lost countless lions due to this, and I was hoping this suggestion would help. What if the days left to reclaim lions was changed? How this works: You must have a Linked account for this to happen! This will make sure this is not exploited. If you don't have a linked account it will go as normal. If one of your accounts rolls the reclaiming days left goes down. If both do not role it doesn't go down, that way if something irl is going on we can focus on that without having to worry about losing our lions for good. I know a lot of people will be against this because they don't have these problems, but I feel this will be helpful for people who have other things to focus on irl. I know this suggestion is kinda stupid and I sound whiny so sorry about that |

i can entirely support. i myself had to deal with severe, life threatening issues mentally and took a few months off of lioden, logging in maybe only a couple times? and when i finally came back, all my lions i worked hard for were gone. i hated it and still get upset thinking about it a little. i support entirely! 0 players like this post! (Sorry im new, but what is linked account? Like do you mean two accounts? Cause I only have one and im not sure Id be interested in a second one) But other than that, full support. This is a very good idea to fix the problem! Ive had a lot of emergency situations and in general life problems that have stopped me from playing games for weeks to months, to years. Also if you happen to be a college student, or work two jobs, or just happen to be physically or mentally exhausted, or have multiple of those things happening at once, I cant imagine logging in is your main priority. You shouldnt be penalized by a game for having real life responsibilities. I cant imagine Id continue to play this game if a bunch of my lions left because someone died and I didnt login in time. 0 players like this post! Like? |

That's true. The only thing I'd be worried about is the mass amounts of dud accounts created for this purpose flooding the server that never get used and just holding space and slowing down the site. More server space means more money needed to run the site, possibly increased prices, etc. Plus an increase in King names that are unavailable. (I'm not an expert on this though, idk if lioden uses a different type of management than other sites I've been on.) The linked accounts thing makes sense, but perhaps there could be an alternative for if you only have one. Like you have to have an account thats x amount of weeks/months old, or you have to verify something with your email on top of being x amount of weeks/months old? Or it costs 1gb in the Oasis or something as a service? I'd be all for just making a throw-away side account to do this, but I wouldn't want it to create another problem/detriment the site is all. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Support - I have no idea why it's based off on 7 irl days, either. Everything else works in rollovers, so why doesn't this? Also, I'm not POSITIVE on this one bc I haven't seen it recently, but I believe this works the same w your dead lionesses while you wait for them to be stored. Perhaps those can be moved to a RO-based time instead of irl days before they disappear and you can't store them the same as this? It just seems a bit ridiculous to work off of irl days imo, but then again, idk why they chose it in the first place. It just seems odd if it's your lioness, why would it run after 7 days? I think 7 days is plenty, RO or not, for someone to make enough money to reclaim their lionesses, anyways. @Slacks - most people do have side accounts as is, so I don't think there'd be a flood of dud accounts? 0 players like this post! I believe, though I could be wrong, that I've seen a very similar suggestion (i.e. change reclaim days to rollovers instead of irl days) be rejected a while back. Largely because admins said it was too much potential strain on the database/server due to all the lions that have run that belong to absent players who have permanently or longterm quit/become inactive/etc that under this kind of system would need to be saved rather than deleted like they currently are. I could be wrong, but I feel like I've seen Katze or Abbey or somebody comment and nix this idea elsewhere for practical reasons. As useful as it would be to keep everything in rollovers rather than rl time for the sake of clarity, I can see that it would be potentially a massive amount of extra lion data kept around for all those players who are never going to return and reclaim. 0 players like this post! yep i just got discharged from the ER last night and now i have a lot of starving lions to placate while im recovering at home in bed  i was lucky it wasn’t too serious. if i had needed major surgery, dozens more might have run.i didn’t like this suggestion the first time i saw it but the linked accounts rule fixes my gripe with it, so i support this all the way. i don’t know if the server space explanation makes me feel any differently about this suggestion! the people who would be taking up the most server space are likely the ones who have spent their own money on GB for extra lion slots. let us have our money’s worth, please? 0 players like this post!
