Couple friends and I were chatting this morning and the idea got kicked up: What if we could stud our kings for event currencies?

Pros:

It would help newer players afford to breed to some more expensive kings.
It would help less-active players gather event currency by studding their kings.
It would help stimulate the game's market and lion economies in a different way.

Cons:

The only con I see is the system being used to technically 'trade' event currency from one person to another, but honestly, I don't really consider that a problem.

This could potentially cause a huge problem. If this was implemented players could use it to sell event currency to other players.
Mass studding NCL to one king in order give someone specific the currency they purchased. It would be limited by the 15 stud slot limit but still abusable.
Dispite the fact that the staff has already stated that other then linked account tranceferes, trading event currency would never be implemented. I think this is a bad idea, it's to easy to abuse.

Players already sell event currency to other players via just buying the item for them and selling them. Actually selling currency for studding isn't really all that different and every single thing you can do can be abused (and often is). Using your example, Kalika, nothing is stopping someone from mass-buying what the other person wants to give them the currency they bought. That's a major thing.

The thing that stops people from mass-buying what someone wants and simply transferring it is this:

"Do not funnel items/currency between accounts. Lioden reserves the right to place an embargo to any accounts considered to be funneling. This includes but is not limited to:
Excessively transferring game items, currency and lions between two accounts usually for the purpose of directly benefitting one account to receive an unfair advantage.

Any group collaborations (e.g. in clans, or member partnerships) must be mutually beneficial for each member involved.
For example, if items are being collected, all members must be able to use those items and not have the items all for exclusive use of a single account. The promise of cubs does not equal all items being concentrated onto one or two studs."

I'm tentatively against this just because it seems awfully close to being able to send other players event currency, while on the other hand... people still do it, just with unsafe promise-based transactions.
