I know we can bury items, and ones that don’t have a cool down will stay their indefinitely, but my idea is that there should be an option in the oasis that after paying 5 or so gb, will give food items roughly 3-6 more days of use in them. Im thinking closer to 5-6 so people have a reason too.

It could be monthly like the feed all/play all/ nest all.
I know Food goes bad after a few days but we have freezers they make some food last longer by a few days so I’m sure the lions could somehow keep their gazelle or honeycombes good for a few extra days.

I’m not sure on the name or exactly how many days it should add to food but I would buy it because I know I buy a lot of stat food items for my sub.

Feel free to give any suggestions or say what you don’t like about it.

Suggestion:
Flavor text - "Your lion found a nice, chilly cave to store food in. The cold air seems to make it last longer."

Yeah, it should just prolong the lifespan of the food a bit. Maybe by double? Support

The only real issue is that I feel like most people wouldn't use it, since burying is free? Unless I'm misunderstanding how burying works, I don't typically use it. But support nonetheless, it's an interesting idea!

Maybe could be flavortexted as a stash of dry ice or something that the monkeys give you access to when you pay them, or something.

Burying items doesn't make them last longer. It continues to spoil, you just can't see the timer.

I would definitely use this if it was an option! Maybe it could be like "Your lion found a nice, chilly cave to store food in. The cold air seems to make it last longer." or something like that.

For a minute I thought I made a useless suggestion lol, but I remember testing it, and it does in fact spoil.

I like both suggestions but the cave is definitely a good idea as flavor text.

OOH for some reason I thought burying 'froze' the item? Durr. I remembered wrong, sorry! Total support then!

And I adore the cave as flavortext, that's genius!~

Perhaps what would be neat, is Kinda like how ARK does for their food storage box. You can store your ribs/meats/chunks etc in a storage box and it keeps them nice and tasty till you eat it but only for certain time frames.

So maybe LD could do the same for here, Make a storage box where larger meats can last a bit longer in the storage container and the smaller ones not so much? I know when I played ARK last if you had a cooked meat or a meat ready to be consumed it had a clock of a few hours before going bad.

idk, just an idea I thought I could throw out to ya.

I agree with it if it costs a good amount of GB, so that it could serve as a GB sink.
