Ooo your lionesses are so regal. I especially love Eden and Cinn. I could see them wearing African flower ornaments (I think that’s what they’re called?) from the April event. I can’t wait to see what Eden’s cubs look like

Thank you so much! The best part is that I only spent 2 GB and 100 SB total on all of the girls in there. I love the African Flower Ornaments, definitely can see them wearing that, but some of the designs people have come up with are really good. Then, of course, I'll have to spend every single beetle I own to buy the decor. Still, it's worth it.
I can't wait to see Eden's babies either! I bred her to a Bast pie, so at best I might get a Gilded pie cub. That would be awesome.
By the way, I was wondering if you might help me out with their ongoing stories: I want to have some sort of plot that they're all involved in. Any ideas for that?

Sorry, got... distracted. How about something like this:

Rasputin came as a surprise to her mother, a comely wandering lioness that was not welcome in any prides, given no name. One night spent with a handsome piebald king - that was all they could ever stand to be near her - and she had herself a beautiful cub, the color of sunlight on snow. She was an innocent cub, and most of her time was spent playing with the shrikes and tumbling after her mother as they traveled from place to place. Her mother loved her daughter with all of her heart, and though she had little to give, she provided Rasputin with whatever she could. She designed a set of leg wraps for her baby to protect her delicate legs as they trekked across the arid landscape.
Rasputin was around the age of two when tragedy struck - a drought swept over the land, and food became nearly impossible to find. Rasputin's mother gave what little she could find to her daughter, and as so often happens during times of hardship, the young and vulnerable lioness lost the only lion in the world important to her.
She wandered for a long time and soon gave in to hunger, unable to bring herself to kill the innocent animals that had been orphaned just as she had, and not strong enough to hunt prey that could defend themselves properly. She was nearly dead when The Witch found her. The Witch was an odd little lion, a tiny thing with spots like a leopard. She claimed to be an ancient half-breed, and her cubs, eternally young from a bit of magic on her part, roamed the Savannah freely.
The Witch took young Rasputin in, and gave her a place to stay, hidden among the trunks of ancient lichen-covered trees. More than anything, The Witch's hoard was something to behold. Piles upon piles of gems and jewelry and feathers and everything else. Rasputin would gather items for The Witch every day, and she began her own little hoard with The Witch's permission.
It was at the age of three years old that Rasputin met what she would later describe as the love of her life. The Witch offered herbal remedies and sold items, and many kings came and went in her territory. Rasputin would often hide from them, for she had heard for their veracious appetite when it came to lionesses - especially ones as lovely as her. But one day this changed. She was terrified of him at first - unsure whether he was good or bad, angel or devil. She could not help but be lured out, though, by the adorable primal kitten trotting after him. They exchanged pleasantries, and the king turned back to his exchange. Emboldened by the fact that he hadn't tried to seduce her the moment he saw her, Rasputin struck up a conversation with the king. His name, he said, was Anahi.
After that day, Anahi kept coming back. He purchased something every time - but maybe he was there for something else, something more. Rasputin couldn't help falling in love with this confident, charming lion. In the end, it was her who asked him if she might join his pride. He agreed, and Rasputin bid her farewells to The Witch and her assortment of odd little cubs. As a parting gift, The Witch gave Rasputin a lotus from her beautiful lotus tree, and told Rasputin to eat it so that all would know her worth. She obeyed, and the plant allowed the light inside her to shine through her eyes, nose, and mouth.

I'm glad you like it! It felt sort of cliché to me. You know: Poor, loving parent. Parent dies. Gets taken in by weird person. Meets "prince charming" and lives happily ever after.
