I still dont support; giving hope isnt really enough reason to code an entirely new feature? There will be a ton of people demanding chances to be raised when their hopes dont come true week after week and if a feature cant be changed but people demand it to be changed, it becomes a rejected idea, much like sub male breeding. There may be a "super low" chance to find but people will keep posting suggestion to raise it, once its added, which can never be done because it will then ruin the market. So why create a footing for another rejected idea?

You dont seem to understand me.
Do you, personally, notice that you can find Lion Scrotum in explore during august? How much does it "benefit" those that cant buy it? The answer is most certainly "no, doesnt affect in any way". Same will be with buffalo scrotums.
If its rare enough to stay super rare, people wont be satisfied with it - it will be too rare. If its more common to satisfy people, it will harm the market. Its a loose-loose situation here with no good way to handle it, except not making such feature at all.

But those that cant afford to buy it outside of Feb, still have a slight chance of getting one for free. Which is a huge plus IF they are able to get it. Even those that can afford to get them outside of Feb, if they find one, they now have an extra one.

Even if they never find it, its still a chance, that could greatly improve the ability to keep them in stock. Because I dont know about you guys, but I had 40 when Feb ended. I have 3 now from hybrid heats, dwarf heats, and RL heats. This little boost could greatly help me if I was to ever find one.

Ability to find 0,1 buffalo scrotum per month would hardly help, BUT any more it'd already not be a "super low" chance.
Have you personally found a Lion Scrotum in August? Have that helped you in your projects? It is already a chance. But does it help? No, if it stays low enough. BUT if its made more common, it will already threaten the market. This is the same situation here. If its "super low" indeed, then the chance will be TOO low to "improve" anything for anyone. But if its higher than super low, it will already damage the market, which is already suffering. Buffalo Scrotums used to go for 40 GB, now they barely ever go above 20. It already hurts the restockers who gain their GB from reselling items.

My argument is people WILL try to make it more common than "super low" chance. The actual "super low" they will say is "too low, lets make it more common to be more helpful". That's the road towards damaging the market, so WHY take a single step on it, at all, if it can all be avoided?

I have gotten a lion scrotum from the august event. I have also gotten the interstellar app too. Both helped me drastically with my projects as I was able to sell them and get the gb i needed.

Its only May, come July/August the buffy market will be higher than it is now. Just like it always is.

I think you missed the point that yes the chances are so incredibly low (which you claim is „Not helping anyways“) but that’s so that the value will still be pretty alright. You claim the august event has the opportunity to present a Buffy ball but it’s so low people barley notice, that itself has not changed the value of Buffy balls, since as you have noted it’s so hard to find people usually don’t even know it exist. This would be similar, People may never even know it exist and may look through their hoard one day and THEN discover they had one. It would be so incredibly rare that it would barley ever happen which you seem to think means it has no value except I disagree for the fact that who ever is lucky enough to find one Does in fact, now have one. Which may not benefit you, nor the economy if they decide to sell or not, but it 100% without a doubt Can help that singular player and I see nothing wrong with that.
