please note im mostly thinking about tigons in here- i LOVED the tigon hype event but yknow how it is

Some of what I've seen in Lioden seems anti-zoo despite the focus on conservation which seems wrong to me?? Zoos are extremely important to avoid extinction, spread awareness for endangered animals, give us a place to study and learn more about their behaviors.
In a couple explore encounters (and almost the entirety of the tigon hype event) zoos are shown as bad places- Ashkarn explains the zoo was an awful place- while yea it was most likely just a shitty zoo I'd like there to be some clarification theyre really amazing places- especially in conservation centered events!

So what I'm saying is in events that could use it maybe we could have explore encounters with conversationalists (similar to the ones in the August and March events) or encounters with captive release from zoo breeding programs! The second one could drop decors!

The march event seems like the best match for this stuff imo but it could all fit year-round as regular encounters too.

Sorry if this isn't well worded- I'm autistic and I'm REALLY bad at communication!
Please explain why no support in comments so I can adjust/finalize my ideas <3

I love this idea! I think zoos are extremely important in conservation, especially when other shitty humans decide an elephant’s tusks look nice or want a lion head on their wall.
Don’t worry about the wording, I’m autistic too lol.

Well, if you view it from an animal's perspective, a helicopter chasing you across the African Savannah is quite intimidating.

I agree!! The game is already quite good at spreading knowledge of endangered/extinct animals, showing off conservation based zoos/sanctuaries would only suit the game even more!

@LionKingWriter
That makes sense! But I figure conservation is more important to show than an animals perspective in this case- a Siberian tiger like Ashkarn isn't suited for Africa and so it was within his best interests to be caught and returned to the zoo, even if he didn't realize that.

Yes, please! I rolled my eyes at the dinner encounter every time despite liking the decor it dropped.

Yesss, there are a lot of good zoos around the world and there are various species that were saved from extinction because of the work zoos has done. So it would be nice to have something about that work in Lioden too. It could be just a simple encounter, either a general one or tied to an event.

I'd rather be chased by a helicopter then go extinct.

it just depends on the zoo though, there are many zoos that don't treat animals properly. I think this is what makes this a debatable topic, however we still need to support those zoos who do treat animals appropriately to prevent extinction (that we caused due to human population rising & taking more land).

Support :)
