I really like Ghabar; Those faint, natural spots are super nice and make it pop. I would say the other two look too simple to be Special bases, but then I remember Ivory. Normally not a fan of Golds but these definitely have a nice look to them.

The first one is neat, but they're all overly simple. Like, not really 'applicator base' content. I think your first one could be Uncommon at the most. The other two look like Common NCL bases, though. :0

Just to remind you, Ivory is an applicator base and it's also very simple. So is Hematite. And Moonstone, and Opal, Blush Rose, and Manakbir. The only base group without a basic-looking special applicator is Gold, so I think the group would actually benefit from these. I think Lioden has run into the problem of, "If this base isn't somehow glittery and sparkly, it can't be a special. If the base consists of only two colors, it's a common NCL base," because most specials are pretty basic in terms of coloration. It's relatively recent for specials to be getting super flashy.

I made them all relatively simple as I didn't want to go overboard with them. They're not meant to be app bases like Ice, Cherry Blossom or Brimstone (not just in how they are more unnatural bases, but also how they are quite busy). Rather, I wanted them to be more like Blush Rose, Ivory or Hallowed - which are all more muted and more simple looking. Not all applicator bases have to be exceedingly 'special' anyway, the current June bases already fit that mould well. I'm suggesting more natural gold base apps to be available, in this case through the June event, anyway, so I would be happy if this suggestion was implemented but with different bases.

Some people use bases for looks, some for genetics. Golden has almost no bases you'd apply simply for their genetics (pointed out above, other groups do have muted/common-looking bases for genetics).

May would be a fine time to introduce these, if they don't use the same absurdly impossible to get crafting mats as the Trophy base.

Although I think you might have meant June? That's the new Rise of the Serpent; May is the Championships.

i actually really really like these bases.. they are simple but sort of exactly what ive been looking for.. im trying to start a natural looking pretty pride on my side account and these bases fit that perfectly - just yesterday i was trying to find a suitable natural applicator base to start this off. i absolutely support these bases!

Oh, what if Ghabar or Sinai were crafted partially using iboga root? Right now the herb has no use, and might lend some of the darker tones in Sinai, for example! It'd give a purpose for the herb like uvuma-ohmlope and umganu have right now, and also help craft a pretty base!
