So, the poll for this week is all about Wenet and whether her look should be refreshed and thus a new claimable version of Wenet. The options include not changing her at all, changing her claimable version but leaving her old art, and completely changing her and changing the art of her to match.

To be honest, I don't like the idea of just up and changing the looks of one of Lioden's characters. I know Wenet is a bit of a special case as it is possible to claim her, but still. What if Laharu was suddenly sporting a different look? Or V'Kai? Or Menhit? In my opinion, Wenet is Wenet and should remain looking like Wenet.

HOWEVER. I do completely understand that, for players experiencing this event multiple times, reclaiming Wenet year after year loses its appeal if she's the exact same each year. I know I personally only claimed her the first year she was available, and mostly just for the novelty of it.

So, what I propose is that perhaps Wenet has sisters or daughters that become claimable and change each year instead. It would be a single daughter available each year (so everyone would get the same one each year, and it's only one look for admins to decide upon each year), and her look could change each year, to keep things fresh for players experiencing the event multiple times. And Wenet herself would still be available for players who are new and have never had a chance to get Wenet (since claiming Wenet was only added because players wanted to get Wenet, if I recall correctly, so she should always remain available as she is!).

This way, a player could choose between claiming Wenet or claiming the daughter, but can't have both (or, I dunno, maybe if they try claiming one and fail, they could have a chance at the other?)

The daughter could then just be available at the same time as Wenet becomes available (or maybe there is a one mission quest where Wenet is like, "Yo, I hear you are looking to add lionesses to your pride. Want one of my sisters/daughters? I have hundreds, I won't miss one. Just bring me some bunnies as a sacrifice-- I mean, as a gift, A GIFT -- and I'll introduce you!"

This way, Wenet gets to stay as good old Wenet, but there's a chance to freshen up the claiming thing for players who are going through the event again and don't feel the need for Yet Another Wenet. And it's still only a one day claiming thing, and still adding only a max of one lioness per account to the game (the same as if people were just claiming Wenet) so it's not adding any more lionesses to the game than there would be if everything was left as it is.
