CAYUGA  Mock-up #2 by Skullface #47620  Mock-up #4 by Valdis II #695 *DISCLAIMER: I take no credit for any of the mock-ups in this suggestion. All credit goes to the wonderful artists. The inspiration for the Cayuga base came from my beautiful real-life Cayuga ducks. Their plumage is a shiny black which gives off vibrant iridescent green, blue and purple hues in the light. I know what you’re thinking: that sounds like an awful color combination for a base... Well. I implore you to just look at these glorious creatures: LOOK AT THEM!     🦆 Mock-ups!Thanks to these wonderful, generous artists, we now have some amazing mock-ups for this base: Eternal gratitude to PopatoTotato [s] (#157306), Skullface ☠️ (#47620), Bobtail the Lover🍯🐆🌾 (#79288), Valdis II (#695) and Sevenoa (#164607) I would like to encourage anyone else who may be interested I’m creating a mock-up of their own interpretation for this base to please do so. It truly brings my heart great joy to see this idea coming to life through the different interpretations of the talented artists of Lioden. The more the merrier! Like how the colors shine slightly differently when the ducks move? I mean files ALREADY have to be fixed to fit poses;; What if there's just minor changes? Like Jolly, The bright blue and greens are on the chest and it sorta fades to the dark purple/Black under where the body casts a shadow? For good it's mainly on the back and behind the neck? The muscle ripples on Snarky? Idk just ideas :0” Thank you so much to everyone who has supported and provided feedback and suggestions, and of course, especially the amazing artists for generously donating their time and efforts to this idea |

I don't know what you were looking for precisely, but I tried my hand at a mock-up for this base. I just thought it was a good idea and I've wanted a base in this color scheme for a while. I hope this does it justice! Lineless: Feel free to give me some pointers on a way to improve this, if you want. I'm new to base designing 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Popato I love those designs! I think you’ve done a great job - thank you so much! You’ve matched the colours in the last photo really well. Personally I’d use a little more black and it probably needs to be ‘toned down’ and blended a bit more to get more support, but overall they’re really pretty :D 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Rare OH. MY. GOD. I am screaming internally right now!! I LOVE this idea! Absolutely genius! I was actually feeling quite conflicted about which colours to choose and where to place them to best represent the Cayuga because of how they change in the light (and they all look so beautiful), and you just swooped in and absolutely nailed it.
