You know what sucks the fun out of this game more than anything else I can think of? Nesting. Nothing says compelling gameplay like having to scroll through a long list of materials to either nest lionessses one by one or generate Nesting Materials one by one so I can... nest lionesses one by one. I understand nesting is there to drain the economy of things like feathers, but let's take a look at what nesting actually does for your average player: -Adds needless downtime to project planning -Forces you to move materials in and out of storage if you don't want a giant list to scroll through -Removes realism (yes of course every lion in Africa flings a couple feathers on the ground before shitting out cubs) -Over-penalizes with a complete wipe of a litter if you fail to nest, holding every player hostage to this mechanic A change really needs to happen here. If nesting is going to stay, we HAVE to be able to generate nesting materials at Monkey Business in a more click-friendly fashion. This is agonizing on desktop - I can only imagine how terrible it is if you only play on mobile. I propose this: let us group feathers and plants and whatnot in the same way you can group-select items to sell at Monkey Business. None of this box-ticking. You click generate and the game spits out however many Nesting Materials you would expect given the amount of uses you entered, plus change if there is any. I don't know how you would improve the mobile version of this as mobile is obsessed with making you select stuff one by one in every drop down menu anyway. TL,DR; Either revert the game to its previous nesting-free status or let us batch craft nesting materials if the mechanic is staying. |

If you scroll towards the bottom of Monkey Business you can fine a thing called "Nesting material crafting" which you can turn into Nesting material :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

I know, I'm talking about changing that so we can craft it more easily and in large batches. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 29/01/19 @ 10:41:18 by π¦ Aardwolf π€ (#46899) |

Nesting just annoys me at this point orz sometimes you want to hoard a certain type of feather or decor but you can't, because surprise, if you don't bend over backwards then you lose an entire litter! I remember when I started I had to stay a few days without mating just so i'd have enough thingies to nest, or waste SB to buy nesting material. Mostly because the low level explore zones give very little nesting materials, or maybe i'm just unlucky. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I would rather nesting didn't exist at all because it really doesn't add anything to player experience, only detracts from it. But if we're going to be stuck with it, it needs to be something we can craft a bunch of at once with low effort. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm sort of on the fence about it really. It's easy for me, only because I have a crap ton of herbs left over from the 2017 and 2018 Shaman event in November. And the click box option to create the nesting material doesn't really bother me and I'm a computer user. Granted I can see how difficult it would be for a mobile user since they would have to rely on different methods to click on the boxes instead of a mouse. I'm not supporting or not supporting only because I can see where some people could be coming from in terms of difficulty with making the nesting material or getting enough should they not have a ton of herbs, feathers, etc. 0 players like this post! If you like nesting - I would be honestly interested in what you feel like it adds to the game/your experience as a player. I have a ton of materials to make nests with and I have never lost a litter to nesting, but I still think it's detrimental to the game. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nesting only exists to make things not too easy. I can imagine what a pain it is for people with 40+ lionesses, but the game needs to earn something, that's why they sell auto-nesting in the Oasis. As someone who was around in the old days and watched nesting being introduced, I personally think it adds a lot to the gameplay. If everything was too easy, it wouldn't be fun. But I do support seeing items stacked somehow in the nesting list, we could also be able to put a nest into multiple lionesses at a time. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Lionesses nesting their own damn selves would be helpful as well, but I know that's reserved for the ridiculous price of 15 GB so. It just seems strange that I have to sit there and hand every single severely pregnant lioness her Government Assigned Nestβ’ so that she can pop her likely very ugly children out to run rampant throughout my nice, pretty den until they finally age up and I can chase them. Effectively, of course, giving them amnesia of any home they may have had while they simultaneously fling themselves at every exploring male they see. Supporting, of course! My poor, unfortunate carpal tunnel plagued wrists would appreciate this greatly. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

@Elicchi Why do you think that breeding needs another arbitrary layer of "difficulty" to it? There's already a market where players can price their studs competitively based around availability of marks and bases, making game currency the gatekeeper to desired projects. Why should there be another factor added in that's only hard if you have carpal tunnel? 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 29/01/19 @ 10:58:01 by π¦ Aardwolf π€ (#46899) |

All this stuff, I agree with. I've been playing a long time, I was much happier when nesting wasn't a thing. It's a massive pain in the ass. However, according to this, they do kind of nest. "Lions, though, are notoriously secretive, if not about their pregnancies, then at least about giving birth. Once a female lion realizes sheβs going into labor, sheβll sneak away from the pride and hide in a secret lair, where sheβll give birth to a litter of 2-6 cubs and stay with them for around three months." My suggestion would be to replace it with a nesting cave or something that you have to have for your lioness to give birth, and if you don't provide one maybe she doesn't feel safe enough to birth the cubs? I feel like it would be more understandable than nesting if you wanted a slightly more realistic birthing feature. ^^ 0 players like this post! Like? |

I would love to see an option were we pick all the material we want to use than it makes x amount of nesting material. When they added the monkey business part, I felt, and still do feel there was no point, because it is literslly an extra step, that takes just as much time as before it was ever there 0 players like this post! Not gonna lie I really like the nesting update. I use exclusively white lion pelts so my evil king's cubs are born on a bed made from the flesh of his enemies tho lol~ But I'd still support an easier way to make nesting material cuz it is a pain on mobile for me when i do it for my side king ewe 0 players like this post!
