You know what sucks the fun out of this game more than anything else I can think of? Nesting. Nothing says compelling gameplay like having to scroll through a long list of materials to either nest lionessses one by one or generate Nesting Materials one by one so I can... nest lionesses one by one. I understand nesting is there to drain the economy of things like feathers, but let's take a look at what nesting actually does for your average player: -Adds needless downtime to project planning -Forces you to move materials in and out of storage if you don't want a giant list to scroll through -Removes realism (yes of course every lion in Africa flings a couple feathers on the ground before shitting out cubs) -Over-penalizes with a complete wipe of a litter if you fail to nest, holding every player hostage to this mechanic A change really needs to happen here. If nesting is going to stay, we HAVE to be able to generate nesting materials at Monkey Business in a more click-friendly fashion. This is agonizing on desktop - I can only imagine how terrible it is if you only play on mobile. I propose this: let us group feathers and plants and whatnot in the same way you can group-select items to sell at Monkey Business. None of this box-ticking. You click generate and the game spits out however many Nesting Materials you would expect given the amount of uses you entered, plus change if there is any. I don't know how you would improve the mobile version of this as mobile is obsessed with making you select stuff one by one in every drop down menu anyway. TL,DR; Either revert the game to its previous nesting-free status or let us batch craft nesting materials if the mechanic is staying. |

@aurelia I like the idea of having a specific den for lionesses to give birth in, and maybe have it as a den with less slots or limited slots, and you can add more slots with either sb or gb. I feel like that would solve the problem and not cripple the newbs (if the price of the den is, let's say, acceptable like around 100sb or what not) Also. If you google "nesting lioness" all you get is lioden pictures haha. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I like the idea of a nesting den, but I'm not exactly a fan of a nesting den with limited slots that you have to pay for. I already paid for my 40 extra territory slots, I don't think I should have to pay for the right to allow them to give birth. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I haven't done it on a phone yet, but crafting nesting material on the Monkey Business is as easy as using ctrl + f "insert feather/herb of your choice to craft". I'd support making it easier than that - being able to craft multiple instead of one by one, adapting it easier to phones if it's very difficult... but picking the bulk of the item to convert it all on nesting material is not something I'd personally like. 0 players like this post! Im hesitant about this.. Nesting is to try and prevent MASS breeding.. Cause if you don't have the necessary materials then you can't breed. Easy as that, So I think Nesting needs to stay the way it is.. And since when is lioden freaken realistic? I mean.. Look around you.. green lions.. angles and demons, Some weird ass shit almost every month.. xD Though I do agree It's a pain in the ass remembering.. and Making said materials.. Maybe Lioness while pregnant will sometimes make a nest of their own? Or find nesting supplies at random with a flavorful text? Also just like Hunting and paroling, Maybe instead of having the nesting reminder in the messaged, Have them on your main page for you to see til they are nested? 0 players like this post! Like? The thing is, it didn't stop mass breeding. I still breed 80 lionesses at a time because I know damn well I'll get that money back from those cubs, it's just a pain in the ass to do all that clicking and it leaves my wrist feeling like someone shot it with their shotgun for a couple days. Everyone still mass breeds, it's just a pain in the dick to do so. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Down with nesting! Add more ways for players to junk cubs if we're concerned about over-breeding/mass breeding. The only cubs I ever lose are my hunters cubs, never the ugly mass bred NCL cubs. Also, seriously, without a mouse it's hellish to have to select one damn feather at a time. My fat fingers are constantly deselecting things,or I need the screen size so large I get to see 4 feather boxes at a time. It's even worse with mobile over using my tablet. 0 players like this post! While I do support the ability to make creating nesting material a bit easier, I am fine with nesting as it is. I will admit it was frustrating when it was added, but its a part of the game now. What would happen to all the herbs and such that don't have any other use if nesting was gone away with? Thrown to the tree? And then where would it go? Nesting provides a place for those herbs and materials to go, and not continue flooding the tree. 0 players like this post! Like? |

If the tree ends up flooded with hundreds of herbs, it'll be fine. They'll be deleted eventually. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yes but that would make it a a paint in the ass for tree drops.. the items would get hidden by the mass herbs 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 29/01/19 @ 14:24:17 by Ruesivonitu (#148692) |

@Berenos: Ideally you'd pick exactly what you want to be crafted into nesting materials. It wouldn't be a blanket "do all of X item" or "do all of Y item type." Full player control for batch crafting. This is the first I've heard of mass breeding being something discouraged by the devs. Is this really true? ETA: The easy way to give herbs and feathers purpose is to just add more things that use them in crafting. The more you want to disappear from the economy, the higher the amount needed to create desired crafted items. Also, there's already a lot of herbs at the tree half the time, especially right after herb month ends. But any item there stacks if there's more than one in order to limit the amount of space it takes up sitting in the tree. So it's kinda a non-issue. And ftr I only brought up realism because that's been the defense I've had used in main when I've mentioned nesting is a less than fun game mechanic. It's true that lionesses will bed down somewhere quiet and covered to have cubs, but they're not scraping feathers and herbs together to do it. 0 players like this post! Like?
