wouldn't this literally make every lion on the game inbred? like every single lion has some instance of inbreeding somewhere, and this would ruin a lot of clean breeders.

But seriously it wouldn't do anything negative to me since I make sure that's there isn't any what so ever and it's easy if you stick to 6th gen and lower

Take for example NCLs. Heritageless Studs/Groupies. Take for example 2nd gen cubs/mutaitons which even I have a fair share of over on this den: https://www.lioden.com/cave.php?id=103168
Take for example all the 2nd, 3rd, and so on generations of completely clean lions existing on lioden.

This wouldn't ruin a lot of clean breeders, this would be a fix to HELP them find lions that aren't pretending to be clean. If we all want to play the game this way, we should be able to play it without bugs like this ruining our prides.

Modacy, my,,,dude,,, My kings are both ENTIRELY heritageless, if I breed them to an NCL those cubs will absolutely NOT be inbred, because both of it's parents are 1st generation. Not inbred.

No, it wouldn't? Groupies, 2nd gen lions, NCLs, hells, a lot of clean breeders have long lines with no inbreeding. My rolled king has great-grandkids that are clean.

Just because lazy clean breeders only count the first page of heritage or what have you doesn't mean that most clean breeders do that. Almost no clean breeder I know who considers inbreeding part of their definition has 3rd or 4th gen inbred lions. Most of them take great care to stud to low gen studs with no inbreeding, too.

I support. Adding the numbers together isn't changing the cleanliness of your lion. It's just showing what's already there, beyond where you looked.

Being unable to do something does not always equate to the feat being impossible. Nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it and make the effort. When I was unable to draw hands, I practiced and I practiced. I can draw hands now! Sure they're not the prettiest, but it's something. Something is better than not being able to draw/show all instances of inbreeding at all.

I'd be happy if it were even an inaccurate number, saying something along the lines of "this lion is very inbred" if there's more than 4 instances throughout the genetics. No more than 4!~

I'm definitely all for the message on the first page saying something more along the lines of "this lion may be inbred further back! Click the names of x-gandparents to find out", but apparently accurately tracking every page just isn't in the coding. And a suggestion to simply invite people to check for further inbreeding has already been put forward.

I'm sure with some effort, it can be added into the coding. Coders get better with time, and while it may be difficult it may surely be possible rather than entirely impossible.

Perhaps if one of the coders of Lioden came out to say this is entirely not a realistic goal for the future of lioden, then I'd be more likely to believe it and settle down haha.
