Anyone with a mutie on a unique lineart (felis as well as future primal variations, pons and gons etc) knows the struggle of finding fitting decor. As we know, this is because decor is not made to fit mutations, only standard lions. Fair enough, it would take a lot of art to change that, and it works well enough with those which are closest to their default counterparts. But decor is made to fit posed lionesses - so why not let us pose mutated lionesses for the best fit? Here's the idea - allow poses to be applied to any mutie. This would NOT change the lineart or appearance of the lion in any way. However, all decor put on the lion would now be changed from the default version to the files fitting the chosen pose. Those wings at your tigon's ankles? Throw a neutral pose on 'em and they'll jump right up to where they're meant to be! The smitten lioness cut in half by the default pose's version? She's a full lioness with the kind pose added! Even better, this means there is NO ART NEEDED to make this work, as it's simply changing which existing files appear on your lions! Here are some examples to clarify what I mean: Before Looks like these ladies are having a few troubles there, and nothing fits at all. Rest in peace, 40% smitten lioness. After [kind pose applied] This lady now had two whole girlfriends without extra appendages! And a fancy tail to boot. Is it perfect? Not quite, but it's a hell of a lot better. Before This tigon will never take off with wings like that! Nothing is quite in place here. After [neutral pose applied] Much better! Attached wings make happy tigons. Again, there are imperfections but it's a definite improvement. Before Pons are much more difficult as they're not close to any pose, but this works for rearranging friends! As you can see here, we have floating and misaligned friends stepping on poor Ruki's toes. A pose can help here! After [snarky pose applied] Consider these friends ordered! Now they can enjoy their family day out. And you wouldn't have to change the pose to the one closest to your lion, either: want to move that plant over there? Add x pose to make it happen! By no means would this fix decors not fitting muties, there would always be things which don't fit right and this is not intended to guarantee perfect fits, but the idea is to open more options for mutie breeders to decorate their lions as this is often very limited. This would give people more choices and help to make muties more customisable in terms of decor! My lovely friend Moth (#97817) made the important comment that this already works with lethals - but rather than lioness poses, changing the cub pose changes their decor. This proves that it is doable, functional, and works. Though it won't make that collar fit your shaggy lioness, it can help owners of felises, leopons, tigons, dwarves, and future muties which have unique linearts. As poses are female only at this moment in time, this does not apply to males who are not lab frogged, but should when male poses are released. TL;DR: Poses given to muties should be allowed in order to change which version of existing decor appears without any file updates or extra art required. Let me know what you think!! |

I actually never thought of this. I'd love to have something like this for these lasses! It'd be a nifty addition. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have a question about the changing of the pose. (I'm new.) Doesn't it cost SB or GB to but a pose changer? 0 players like this post! Like? |

This is a PERFECT solution!! Requiring nothing but a tiny bit of extra coding-- no art changes, nothing, it's great!! I know we'll never get 'proper' poses for muties but something like THIS would be grand!! I really hope the devs consider/add this! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Not sure how I feel about this. While I like the idea, it's kind of known that most decor doesn't work well with muties, and they can't always go in and update every decor for every mutie, you know? I feel conflicted internally. fyghjbklm 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Elliott It's just to adjust where the decor is for poses on Muties. Currently, the poses just remove the unique lineart and make the lasses look normal lasses with the poses equipped. This is just to be like 'hey dudes can we just make it so it doesn't remove the custom lineart for muties'? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Aww thanks you guys!! @Timbone, it does cost GB to change poses unfortunately, but just like people buy decor I feel like people would be willing to pay for the ability to have more decor options for mutated lionesses. and @Elliott, this isn't about updating files for lionesses. On the examples I posted, I didn't move or change any files from the way they are already on poses: all of the decor on the felis with a kind pose, for example, is exactly how it would appear on a regular lioness with a kind pose. All that would have to be done is change which existing decor shows up, no files need to be updated whatsoever. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Oh... I didn't really read all of that text. I just saw the pictures. Any chance you could add a little "TLDR" version in bold, at the bottom? ^^' 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hi! I'm definitely in support of this because a similar thing currently works on lethal cubs! This is my lipo in the regular cub stage, and oh Apedemak no his friends are all in a muddle! His face is glowing! Oh, the humanity! So I put Eye of the Fierce Roar on him! It doesn't change him physically because lethals don't have cub stages, but look how happy he is with all his friends! This probably wasn't something intended by the coders, but it definitely works! I don't see why it can't apply here too! <3 0 players like this post! Like? |
