Exactly what is says on the tin. GMOs occur in what...one event out of the whole year? They're expensive (the tigon situation not withstanding), both in event and normal currency, so it's my opinion that a GMO should not be able to produce any low tier mutations. The cost/reward is WAY skewed. No user should use a GMO and get a boring Achromia, Foldie, Bobtail, Tailless, or any nonsense like that. Such an expensive item should yield mane-mutations at the very least. Getting a common mutie from such an expensive item is just insulting. ADDENDUM: PLEASE READInstead of outright blocking common mutations, the use of a GMO makes them rather uncommon. Occuring in maybe 10-20% of cubs successfully affected by a GMO Cow. The rest will be mid and high tier Mutations. |

No... You actually wouldn't... Do you understand how mutie pools work? ![]() |

I’m not 100% certain, but I’m pretty familiar with odds and statistics. If you decrease the chances of a certain pool of muties from appearing, it either decrease overall mutie chance or you’d increase the likelihood of a different pool being drawn to make up for it. ![]() |

Archangel, this suggestion isn't decreasing the chance of mutations. It's decreasing the chance for the cheaper mutations and increasing the chance for somewhat decent mutations such as mane mutations. Not the extremely rare mutations, JUST the uncommon ones. ![]() |

Yes, and I'm trying to explain to you that just cause commons go down doesn't mean rare does up. There's a whole other category: Uncommon muties. ![]() |

I wish they would clarify muties into tiers the way they did with markings ![]() |

They probably have and just haven't shown anyone. Only recently were mark tiers released, but they've been a thing for at least a year. ![]() Edited on 27/02/19 @ 17:29:48 by Jax [Sunrise TIGON King] (#103364) |

^ it's pretty obvious that mane fluffy is waaaay more common than mane frizzy, even though imo they should both be pretty (un)common mane mutations -maybe because I hate mane fluffy >.> ![]() |

Well, you cant discount people possibly killing and discarding AMP cubs before they grow up. So there's really no reliable way to see if they're equal or not. Staff isn't gonna release that information. 'Cause as soon as people see common muties make up like 50% of all mutie output from any time (including the expensive GMOs), they'll be pissed. ![]() |

What, the 50% thing? I don't, I was just kinda being sarcastic, but with the way numbers are set up on this site, it's probably an accurate guess lmfao RMAs are skewed to be something like 90% common/ncl 1 Cub litters are 50% of all litters Im just saying it wouldn't shock me. ![]() Edited on 27/02/19 @ 17:42:37 by Jax [Sunrise TIGON King] (#103364) |

Massive support. It’s infuriating when I spend over 20GB for a bobbed tail. ![]() |

I support, as it would make the mutations such as achromnia more rare. Most of them that pop up are gmo fails. ![]() |
