This bug has been forwarded to the admin team. What gameplay feature is this bug affecting? Cub Protection What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible. It's not too big of an issue: it will only will happen rarely and isn't urgent. My cub was being protected by an elderly broodmother, and she happened to die before the cub turned a year of age. The cub is still under her protection, and there's no way of undoing the protection. This bug doesn't affect me, as I have no need to remove the protection, but it could potentially affect someone else. Any links relating to this bug? i had the same thing happen twice to me with broodmothers passing and the cub remaining under their protection. i was able to switch it once but not this time as there's not an option for it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

This is happening to me as well with my lion Diamond (https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794127797534). She's being protected by a dead lioness stored in my records (https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794120335405). I guess I'll just wait until the lion ages up. I can see how this can be used to manipulate the system, however, because someone could just make an old lioness a broodmother, assign her a bunch of cubs, let her die and then have eternal protection for those cubs + an extra broodmother slot. I had the same issue happen to me, I had my broodmother pass and the cubs stayed protected. They also didn't show up in my new broodmother interface, nor could I remove them from my passed lioness since she well.. passed. I couldn't find this thread so I opened my own and the amazingly helpful mods have already fixed the issue for me, but I was redirected here and told to post I had experienced the same :) 0 players like this post! It happened to me, too. My broodmother passed away and kept protecting some of the cubs she was protecting kept protected However, not all of them: My achromia male and my fiery female lost protection. Both had 5 months before the lioness passed away, and lost the protection as she died. However, the older cubs, with 10 months before she died, kept protected. I don't know if this was just random or could be actually something. I hope this response can help, however! 0 players like this post! I'm having the same issues with [#794189087042] and formerly [#794188128485] (aged out of protection). They were both being protected by [#794123419699], who passed away. I still can't remove protection from the cub, but the adolescent is no longer protected. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm sorta having the same issue. I revived a lioness and made her immortal. I now want to retire her, but whenever I change her role to none it won't save. She died irl back in 2022, none of the cubs she could've been protecting are still in my pride. I don't know what to do. I was referred here by the mod team 0 players like this post! Like? |
