Hey everyone im not sure if people will support this BUT

WHat if there was something called an heir slot? For 1 lion, there could be bottons on every male that said " make heir" ( of course, you could change it anytime) but basically all it would do is generate fun flavor texts.

" You see (heir) sitting in a circle with your cubs, talking about how diffrent the pride is going to be once he is king. Hes not king yet! You run into the circle, scaring off the cubs, and are greeted by a sheepish grin."

" You notice (heir) holds his chin higher than all the other sub males. Your glad you wont live to see him become king!"

" You decide to take (heir) out for a little bit of training. He gets distracted, though, talking about how many gems he could fit on his crown..."

" (heir) pushes aside another lion eating so he can enjoy the carcass. How very kingly of him."

" You see (heir) looking at himself in the water, repeating " Deathlord or King? Deathlord or king?" over and over, and you wonder what he will be."


But I dont want to have these!
Well then dont fill your heir slot

What if I change my mind about my heir at retirement?
