Hey fam,

Its kind of annoying sometimes when you buy some palm leaves for your lions and people mood boost them, you know? I still want to be in the clans and stuff, but I think we should be able to turn it off if we dont want people touching our lions?

Im NOT asking to get rid of mood boosts, to be clear. I want people to have the choice if they want their lions mood boosted

...please tell me this is satire?

You 'don't want people touching your lions'?

I- what?

I mean- I can think of literally no harm a mood boost does?

Vulpine, the harm is when you safekeep the mood of your lion for stat-boosting toys, so you can use them on that lion for a chance of stats, and people boosting their mood with Clan Boost that cannot give any stats is an unwanted kindness sadly.

...or I could turn off mood boosts so I can use it when I want in a mass stat that I had been planning

It is kind, but sometimes its unwanted and when your in big clans basically anybody can mood boost yours. There is no harm in disabling it for people who dont want it?

If you plan to use that stat booster every day throughout this lion's life, then "you can wait" is not an argument - Clan Boost possibly strips you of adding some stats to your lion.

Refreshing the page will cause your message to send again.

I agree, when building a stat monster every extra stat helps. Clan members are trying to be helpful, but if you lose 2-3 stats a day from being unable to use a stat item, if this happens a few times a week over the course of a lions 15 year life time then you're possibly losing out on hundreds of stats.

Ok I respect that, but can you at least fully explain why so I can learn from it?

I have already explained my position, Mochi. This is the second time you've pulled this.

You understand just fine. You just want an arguement.

Support - it’s just a matter of ensuring being able to use stat-boosting toys as planned daily on stat heirs etc, which is a very common practice for stat breeders. I certainly can’t see the harm in being able to disable the boost

I like this suggestion! It'd be a nice QoL addition.

and Eldritch Vulpine, I'm not sure why you're responding in such a condescending way, but just to hopefully explain a bit better: mood only lowers with each rollover (unless you chase a nursing lioness' cubs), and it only lowers so much. Most stat items give up to 10% - sometimes more - of a mood boost (except for a couple more expensive items), so that greatly limits how many items you can use on your lion. That, topped with the fact that stat toys aren't guaranteed to work, means that the having a lower mood on your lion so you can use more items is pretty important to people who breed for stats!

Having the option to disable this feature is nice, because then you don't have to actually approach people and say "hey, I know you mean well, but please stop boosting my lions' moods"
You can just disable it, and it becomes a non-issue!

Anyway, lots of support for this! :D

Vulpine, Im sorry but from the discussion above, the one wanting an argument here is you?.. :/ You said you dont understand what harm mood boosting does, you got an answer from people who see that harm. It is ok if you dont agree with it but you defend your opinion quite agressively here, at least from the way you word it.
