hi, i'm juno, or hy, whichever. i'm just lookin' for a couple 1x1 roleplays, and if you're reading this, then hey! maybe you are too! that's neat!

before reading any further, please consider the following information about me;
- i'm in central daylight time but it doesn't really matter- i work with nocturnal animals for a living so i'm pretty much asleep all day and awake all night. along with that, i work from home, so i spend quite a bit of my down time on lioden. i'm very active in that sense.
- i'm a literate writer with 10+ years of roleplaying experience. it's totally cool if you don't have that much experience! i bring this up, though, because i've been roleplaying long enough to know what does and doesn't work for me. if i'm not feeling a roleplay, i'll tell you. i expect the same from you- if you want to drop a roleplay or change things up, let me know. i won't be offended.
- i love to talk ooc. if you don't want to chat, that's fine, just let me know in advance so i don't end up annoying you with pictures of my dogs or something.
- i'm not a big fan of word counts. if you have something you go for, that's fine, but i prefer to just go with the flow.
- i can roleplay on lioden or discord. i prefer discord, because i'm much more organized there, but here works, too!

and now, here's the big two of things that generally scare people off;
- i only play humans. by this, i mean realistic humans, too, not cartoon characters or anime. anthros, animals, etc, are all out. i've roleplayed them all before, but frankly i can never really get into roleplays about them. i also don't do fandoms because, to be perfectly honest, i've never sat down and watched or read a season or series of anything in my life. podcasts are maybe an exception, if you can throw me a good plot.
- i only play nonbinary characters. as i stated before, i've been roleplaying for a very long time and i know what works for me. roleplaying is meant to be a fun hobby, and i feel i can relate better to nonbinary characters, and that writing them gives me a lot more creative freedom. if you contact me to roleplay, i will assume that you understand this. i've had a lot of very nasty experiences with people harassing me over this, or skipping over it entirely and getting upset with me. all of that being said, i don't care what gender of character you play. mxnb, nbxnb, nbxf- they're all good in my books, i don't prefer one over the other.

i do expect a couple things from you, as a roleplay partner;
- communicate! even if we aren't chatting, roleplaying is a team effort- tell me where you want things to go, what's working, what's not working- that's all important stuff!
- let me know if you want to drop a roleplay or will be away for a while- like, more than a week. like i said earlier, i won't be offended! i just want to know that you're doing okay! people ghosting me completely freaks me out a little, i'm a mom friend at heart and i worry.
- please understand that although my work schedule is a weird one, it's still a work schedule. i'm not online all day every day. with all due respect, please do not spam me when i am not online.

here's a few things i'm into;
- cliche, opposites attract type of pairings. i love romance.
- country person x city person
- model x photographer
- barista x businessperson
- criminal x law enforcement
- just that general type of stuff, you know?
- song based plots! i have all sorts of them if you want to message me about these, it's wild.
- post apocalyptic stuff!
- southern and southwestern gothic- these are my thing when it comes down to it.

here's a few things i won't do;
- i won't participate in a roleplay where any main character is under the age of eighteen. i'm an adult, that feels weird for me.
- pedophilia, bestiality, and anything else that's just generally gross like that is also a big no.
- i will not play a character who is meant to be your character's abuser. i will not do plots along the lines of bully x victim, kidnapper x kidnapped, or anything close to that, please do not suggest it. i also will not participate in roleplays with romanticise things such as mental illness, foster care/orphanage situations, or child abuse.
- i won't roleplay most historical settings, especially medieval things. i'm from south america and my knowledge of life in medieval europe is limited to the black plague and weird hats.
- at the moment, i'm kind of burnt out on fantasy. if a good plot comes along, i might be open to it, but for the most part, it's a no.
