I was looking through the wiki today reading about the upcoming events and had a thought. We all know that overpopulation on Lioden is intense, and there are a LOT of different (many of them excellent) suggestions for how to combat it. I've come up with an idea of sorts that would make a good June event addition.



A new cult has arisen in the plains of Lioden. They are the Cats of (Anubis/Bast/Seth), and they believe that they can calm the Serpent through proving their devotion to their chosen deity by converting as many lions as possible.

Players can choose to help convert as many lionesses, adolescents, cubs, and sub-males as possible into loyal Acolytes, and doing so will help to open new tiers in the Cult Shop(s).

However, like the rest of the event, you have to choose 1 deity and stick with them. There should be trackers, like some kind of site-wide competition. I don't think there should be prizes, just bragging rights, haha. But I could see this becoming an additional shop, and you'd earn AP (Acolyte Points!) for providing your chosen deity with new acolytes. Each shop should have valuable things for purchase to encourage participation (I leave this to mods) and different tiers based on how many Acolytes have been dedicated to their deity.

You could even set up a temporary leaderboard for "Most Acolytes Converted", too!


Obviously, all converted Acolytes will leave at the end of June to live happily in the eternal realm of their deity to worship them.
