Basically, the October storyline should give you an option to "just be friends" with Nirah. Many players wish to stay neutral or just buy the items in the manticore shop, so give us the choice of a platonic relationship. We should to hang out with the manticore and access that shop while establishing a boundary and letting him know that while you're not interested in his advances, you'd still be willing to hang out and take quests.

It is entirely possible for a straight and a gay person to become good friends and respect each other. Not to mention that in real life, most people would be very uncomfortable spending time with someone who immediately starts hitting on them and not be able to say "no". The choice could be added after this page of the storyline (http://liodenwiki.wikidot.com/heaven-and-hell#toc8) and could go something like this:

Nirah seats himself in front of you with a pleased smile, the large wings wiggling with contained joy. “Hell yeah, my dude! Stick it to those entitled creeps!” The manticore's mood suddenly crashed with a forced cough, ears flattening. “I mean, uh, nice choice. If you ever want to change your mind then you can come back to me and we can think about the portal thing again. Until then, let me walk you home. Don’t hesitate to come over to my cave, I’ll be open to you any day or night, my dude.”

> I'd like to hang out with you, but just as a friend, my dude. I happen to be interested in lionesses.
(You watch the manticore for a reaction. For a moment he appears a bit disappointed, but then he smiles, and you begin to wonder whether or not you misread his intentions. "No problem, my dude! You're on the neutral side, like me, you can hang out any time!)
Begins quests.
(This option would replace the more "flirty" flavor texts with ones like "I'm glad to have you as a friend, my dude" or "Team Manticore, hell yeah!" something similar.)
