Though the concept of claiming Wenet cousins is cool and adds an interesting twist to April.. I have seen many people who were rather dissatisfied with their Wenet cousins! Some even killed or chased theirs because of how displeased they were. So.. I have an idea. Next year, people get a choice.

Lemme explain. When you reach the final day of April, you can either choose to claim Wenet, or one of her cousins.. Personally I LOVED the story that went along with Wenet falling in love with your king and wanting to join your pride, it charmed me, and I happily claimed both of my wenets last year. This year, you didn't get that, and were just tossed some rng lioness.. Which is great.. But unfortunately you had a chance of getting a dud lioness.. a shtinky poop looking lioness, or a lovely lady with a rare/special base. Many didn't get the latter. Which stinks, because instead of everyone getting the same thing and being happy, being guaranteed satisfaction because they know what they're going to get, there was a lot of salt and unhappiness.

SOOOOO Enough with my rambling, onto the details.

last day of April, you go to Wenet's page, instead of one button, there are two.. You can choose to continue the story line, OR you can choose to claim a Wenet cousin! The button that leads to Wenet being claimed continues with her talking to your king and ultimately claiming her love and wanting to join your pride. The button that leads to the wenet cousin being claimed.. Just.. Leads to the wenet cousin being claimed..

Now here's a small twist.. This is optional of course, completely up to the staff.. When you click the wenet cousin button, or if you accidentally click it.. you can choose to leave her(Via just leaving, or clicking another button that could be there), and go back to Wenet and claim her instead. Please note that this doesn't mean that you can claim both on one account! That isn't what I'm saying at all.
The entire time you're going through the story of you talking to Wenet, up until she is claimed, you can choose to go back. It's kind of like the choice to switch gods in the June event! Leading up to the battle with Apophis(probably didn't spell that right), you can choose which god you will side with. It will give you a final choice, and then there's no going back. Once you choose to claim wenet, you either claim her, or you don't and that's the end of the story, you can't leave her and go back to claim a cousin. That would be mean, like shooting down a gal who says "I love you" and going off with some other chick :'>

Lemme know what y'all think of this suggestion and how to improve it! :D

Add-on: A wonderful user suggested that the cousins themselves be improved, such as common bases like camel and markings that make lionesses look like normal NCLs also be eliminated. Which really makes sense since Wenet is Onyx based(unless she somehow in the future gets her own base), which is uncommon, many cousins were common NCL bases, which is very disappointing. They suggested better markings as well so they do indeed look prettier, maybe an actual people-made design pool of lionesses, instead of pure rng. Their actual posty :>
