The Story!

The idea of Dusk and Dawn to to implement a D&D style of playing.

I will be your faithful GM, running a world for your characters to explore, grow, and inevitably change the fate of. Due to this you will be running one, or possibly two characters from a young age, developing their stories.
You will have stats and skills, and this will shape your characters way of life. Are they a fighter with great strength, able to withstand fear? Or a hunter who can track even the faintest of scents? Or maybe you're destiny lies on the path of the healer, or even to walk the pawsteps of a leader one day. These choices will shape your characters future, and perhaps the future of those who rely on them.

The reason for using discord is that your stats (which will require using a dice roller) will determine successes and failures of your characters through the RP. From tracking, to hunting, to fighting, there will be a sense of danger and mystery to what may happen. As you grow and gain experience, you will increase in stats and skills as well.
Because of this there may be a small learning curve to the dice rolling system. It is simplified as possible, but having a small understand of D&D mechanics, or an interest in learning will greatly help your experience!




Basic Rules

- This will be potentially taking place on Discord.
- The rp will be literate (5 sentences at least), however there are times where posting may be faster and shorter due to dialogue and choices needing to be made.
- Activity will be important, as nothing kills a RP faster than lack of actual RPing. This doesn't mean being on every day multiple times a day, but does require at least a decent level of activity and checking in.
- No drama between players. Your characters may not get along, but in-fighting won't be tolerated. 




Setting
 A quiet but touristy two-leg town, surrounded by rivers and lakes within a rich forest.  While there is plenty of territory, much of it is difficult to get to, and swimming and crossing rivers is common. It is very lush and warm in the summer, with the lakes and beaches often filled with two-legs and bitter cold in the winter.
Two clans share the terrain, your clan of Duskclan, made several seasons ago from rogues and kittypets longing for a new life, and Dawnclan, whos roots have existed in the forest as long as everyone remembers.


Current Plot-
You are all apprentices. Some new, some older. Life has been calm in the forest, and while tensions with the neighboring clan never entirely vanish, there is a current atmosphere of peace that has never been seen before. Even the old medicine cat, who has been muttering about something on the horizon, can't dampen your spirits. After all, the clan is flourishing and your on your way to becoming the best warriors you can be.
