Some cubs die even if they don't have the skull next to their name. (I lost a mutie cub because of this) I wish the skulls would show up more consistently, rather than having a cub just randomly die on you without any warning whatsoever... Anyway, I support. I like being notified of the goings on in my pride 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't think the 'too many cubs, not enough broodmothers' reasoning is a good supporting factor. People who don't want cubs to die, should be more careful about their breeding habits. Don't breed more cubs than you can protect with a broodmother/majordomo. 0 players like this post! Like? |

What if it was part of the Daily Summary? Like, Cub Accidents Cub twisted its paw while trying to climb some tall rocks. Now it is at 17% survival chance. or maybe it could be a warning banner when you click on the cub? This cub is under 40% survival chance. Better protect it! 0 players like this post! Like? okay but lmao just because not everyone plays the game the way you do is not a good enough reason to outright vote against a notification that /over a hundred/ of people want bc it would be helpful to them. "I wouldn't use it personally" is not an excuse to say something should not be added for others. If you can always secure your cubs the day they're born, great, but not everyone has to play the game your way. 0 players like this post! Like? |

also tbh I don't like that idea, Raven, not everyone actually reads the rollover summaries or has the time to check individual cub pages, that's the issue. this suggestion is for a den page notif, like with starving lionesses. and it's that for a reason x'D 0 players like this post! I think the feature is in place to purge excess cubs from the game besides chasing/killing/reserving in addition to adding an extra layer of challenge - I like the cub death feature, as morbid as that sounds, and I wouldn't want it to be removed. However, I do agree with this suggestion, a notification when a cub is close to death (or even unprotected) would be exceedingly helpful. 0 players like this post! Like? |

from what i gathered when reading old news posts, the cub death feature was implemented because the market was overflowing with cubs, even worse than it is now. thats also why broodmothers were implemented, to protect cubs you didnt want dying. then theres the rollover summary that everyone gets. the cub death feature is necessary, and there are measures you can take to prevent favorite cubs dying. even after birth you do have a couple days to assign a broodmother. if youve got too many cubs and you cant protect them all? increase territory space. or send some over to your side, if you have one. or there is the hornbill item to raise the cubs survival chance to 100%. one of those every couple days would do the same, just stay on top of it. they ARE babies, after all. you need to pay some attention to them if you want them to survive 0 players like this post!
