Of course, not this year! As it is literally just a few days until June- but maybe in a year or so, the storyline of this event could be altered/SLIGHTLY overhauled! (Tbh more of an edited personality for the Gods? e)

Ok! So, the June event is heckin great and holds so much potential! Of course, I understand the storylines in events weren't ever meant to be professional or all big-and-fancy at first; though a change could help the event as a whole, making it feel more interactive and rounded!

A crucial proposal of change I'd say is to fix how each diety behaves! Bast, Anubis, and Seth- they're all okay as is at the moment, though in a way- they all feel like the same character? That meaning they don't really have their own respective personalities that make them pop and truly make their path unique! (Save for a few word changes and such!)
I'd think a nice way to fix this would be to focus heavily on what they were known to do/how they were seen when they were worshipped. That's where changing-times and religions come into play, especially with Egyptian mythology! Take in example, Seth, ISN'T evil- he was actually the protector of Ra! Though over time, various places began to portray him as more evil and trickster-like! So, perhaps he could be displayed as more sly and cocky, maybe impulsive and almost trigger-happy in a sense due to the rise of Apophis in the event?

Example!; Seth
Current; "Address me properly, mortal cub." Seth looks at you again. He does not seem to be the kindest of beings you've met so far. "Lord of the Red. Protector of Ra. Ruler of the Desert. Master of War. I require proper respect from my servants." The god stares at you expectantly. You're a little bit disappointed, as you thought you'd fight alongside a being that was grateful for the revival, some sort of fellowship in these hard times. But… Maybe you'd be grumpy if you were woken up in the middle of your sleep too. Maybe you'd ask that annoying teenage submale to refer to you as a king. Yeah, okay, you can kind of get it."
Slightly altered; "Address me properly! " Seth barked out with a ferocity that seemed to shake the ground just as much as the neverending earthquakes had. Those ghastly eyes of the God seemingly staring through your very soul as he gazed at you with an unearthly expectancy. And you sputtered out a cough, re-addressing the God with just as much respect as he deserved. And once you had, Seth raised his elegant muzzle pridefully, a serpent-like grin stretching across it, creeping up, up. As you caught a glance of his newly formed fangs within the dim light illuminating from cracks in the ceiling.
" Excellent, you... will be promising to me, to the cause, "

Example!; Bast
Current; "Very. I missed being a lioness. It feels like I am home again. When the kingdoms were young, I was the embodiment of war, of great hunts and killing blows. Later on, though… the feminine appeal seems to have shifted my people's preferences toward smaller felines. I became a home protector, a graceful, albeit tiny, cat. I wouldn't be much of a useful warrior. Thankfully, this temple is quite old. I am grateful you chose me, [NAME]. You have chosen me for a reason, though." She steps down toward you, her tail held up high, ready for whatever challenge is lying ahead.
Slightly altered; " Very! I missed being a lioness. It feels like I am home again. " The graceful God purred with content. A sense of motherly comfort washing over you, as if you were a cub under your mother's protective paws once more. Her glistening eyes seemed to hold the sky itself within them as she offered you a slight flash of a smile before her shoulders heaved up.
" Nevermind that, small cub. You chose me for a reason, and that is a reason I must fulfill. For both your mortal kinds sake and the worlds. "

Example!; Anubis
Current; "I do have more trust in this body to withstand a fight than I had in my old one." When he speaks, it's like a snake slithering through gravel, as the hoarse voice is quiet, low, and crackling. "It is a bit depressing to know that, naturally, I wouldn't be of any use. My story is now filled with the frustration of a god whose skill isn't useful in anything other than after death touches you, when I would protect the tombs, embalm the dead, lead their souls to the afterlife, to the new dimensions where their good and bad deeds would be weighed against them. I have never learned how to prevent death, as it surrounds me every day." His words do not fill you with hope. They don't rile you to kill the Serpent. It's quite disheartening to see him like this. Maybe if he learns what happened outside, he'll get a jolt of motivation.
Slightly Altered; " Indeed, I do trust this body to withstand battles more than the previous. "
Anubis choaked out, his voice gravely as if you had scraped it through the crackled ground beneath your very paws. Truthfully, it disheartened you- this God seemed weakened, even with this new vessel he seemed way too vulnerable to go up against such a cruel, unforgiving force. And as if the God had read your very mind, a worn-away and aged smile attempted to crawl upon the polished onyx coat of the canine.
" I won't be much of use, and it seems you've realized that. Though, that won't stop me from trying. " He said, shifting to raise his head higher, chest puffing out like a true warrior preparing for a fight.
" Now come on, times getting old. "
