So i did a search in this thread for "stripes" and didn't find any suggestions quite like this one. If there is another that came before mine, though, let me know and I will take this down and support the other thread!

So i'm sure many people by now have realized that mottled stripes is kind of... weird. It's a strange orange color that goes with...mmm... like maybe 5 bases on the site and clashes with most other markings. No hate to the lions who somehow manage to make it work, but let's be honest here, mottled rosette looks good with almost everything and mottled stripes looks good with almost nothing. Well, easy fix! More colors, please!!!

Specifically black. Just... black is all im really asking xD. A nice, simple black. Not orange or red or yellow, just...... black.

Obviously, other colors would be nice too! I actually think for those pink breeders that it would be adorable to have some dark magenta mottled stripes (hey, i know, not everyone wants pink, but for those who do, it would be pretty cute). But some ebony and onyx options are really what im gunning for here. I'm sure im not the only one who would appreciate this haha. Let's make mottled stripes a marking people like cuz it looks nice, not just cuz it's rare. If anyone would be willing to do a mock-up, that would be AMAZING.

As pointed out by The Serval Spots (#98320), MS are orange because in tigons/ligers they are orange. So it makes sense to me to change the name to "Ebony Stripes" or "Onyx Stripes" rather than "Mottled Stripes: Ebony" but i'm not necessarily going to say this is a suggestion for an entirely new mark because a recolor of the existing mark is less work for the artists than making a whole new one. If the majority of you guys support a whole new series of marks though, similar to how the rosettes work, then by all means we can aim for a slightly different look to the stripes! Honestly i just want them to be black.

Suggestion by The Serval Spots (#98320): Soft Body Stripes, Body Stripes, Heavy Body Stripes! Every rosette color! Tier four or maybe even tier 7 to separate it from rosette passing! EBONY HEAVY STRIPES
