Hey there!

If you're asking how the item works, it gives the litter you use it on an additional chance to "roll" for a mutated cub - all litters have a given chance, higher or lower depending on the fertility of the mother, and items like Cotton Root Bark, GMO Cow or Lion Meat give another chance with their own percentage of success for a cub in the litter to be born with a mutation. As the Lion Meat description says, out of the two GMO has the highest chance of triggering a mutation - but we do not know, as we are never given the exact percentage of success these items have.

If you were curious, you can use CRB and GMO Cow/Lion Meat in the same litter, but not GMO Cow and Lion Meat, as they take the same "slot". Furthermore, you could use CRB in a previous breeding, then use other items to lower as much as you can the fertility of the lioness, then use either Lion Meat or GMO Cow to have the highest chance there is to breed mutated cubs :)

Lion meat is an increased chance of getting a mutated cub. It's just a low increased chance if that makes sense.
