Yes, it needs to be colored and at least be of sketch level to qualify! Ill clarify why: the main objective of the contest is to create a unique character, and without color, it is a lot harder to do that! Color means a great deal in character design, making up at least 50% of character's individuality - and sometimes, colors mean even more than lines. It doesnt have to be perfect in quality nor anatomy but the more the design is visible/unique, the higher will be chances of that entry to place higher! 0 players like this post!
