Hello! This is a suggestion about crafting gems (and other event things) in their respective events.

In the past, you could craft the monthly gems on an Event page. Now however, they are found in the Monkey Business Crafting section.

I find this a bit irksome-- not having a specific page under Events leads to forgetting to craft your gems/event items. It is also a pain searching up the different recipes and figuring out which are used for this month, having to click each recipe to see how many you need, going back and re-searching afterwards, etc....

My suggestion is to bring back the crafting Event pages in their respective months. The recipes can also remain in Monkey Business crafting, but having them all laid out in the event tab again will save a lot of headache and unnecessary confusion! :)

Let me know what you think & if you found it as arduous as I did using the MB Crafting Page for July's gem recipes.

Event Tab Option
have tabs in the monkey business tab to separate monthly/event craftable recipes from standard craftables

Craftable Tab Option
have a tab that lists recipes you currently would be able to craft

This suggestion has 389 supports and 2 NO supports.

thank you.. it is not easy on mobile to navigate through MB crafting & figuring out which recipes can be crafted during the current event. i ended up just searching “gem” each time to see what was available, and missed the peridot loop scarf because it says craft peridots not gem: peridot. also if i don’t get to see the cute november crafting banner again i’d be gutted. :(

Yeah I got a bit confused with the different names for the recipes too :( I missed out on the scarf too.

I can't offer much in the way of your suggestion but I have tried to clean up the crafting recipes - anything that was not previously tagged as July should now be tagged accordingly, and any instances of "Craft 15x Celestites" (or other gems) instead of "Craft 15x Gem: Celestite" has been fixed. Let me know if I missed any!

November is another crafting month, so I tweaked my topic to apply to all event crafting and not just gem crafting :)

Looks like November lost its event crafting page too :( I really don't like this, it is harder to keep track of everything available, and foresee players being confused in chat all the time.

I was frantic a minute ago, looking for the event crafting page on the event tab. Felt really dumb because I couldn't find it where it usually was.

I honestly don't like that they were transferred over to Monkey Business. I'm assuming it helps as a way to refer back to the recipes before the event starts, but it really clutters the crafting list when they become unavailable. If staff decides this is where event-only crafting should take place from now on, I'm on board with having a separate tab for them. Maybe even tabs specifically for each month, for better organization - we only have 3 months where gem/event item crafting takes places right now.

tabs are a great idea, I like that :)

Just to clarify, I am fine with the recipes also staying in the monkey business crafting area of course, but if there's a way to have them there AND on the Event page as well, it'd make life easier for these months!

I don't see why they don't just put it like they did last February, with it both in Monkey Business and on the event page. It's so frustrating the way it is now

So that’s where the crafting was in July??? I missed it entirely! That really needs to be brought back. It’s also just more fun in general because it gives a little roleplaying aspect for me personally
