So! As things currently stand, the Destroyers and Preservers remain unlocked if you got them last year. This works out well if you have the same karma orientation and no interest in the other shop, but it's pretty bad for users who switched Kaema alignments or want X new decor from the other shop, or can't roll their side often enough to open the other.

Newbies and those who took hiatuses only need to gain 300 good or evil to unlock their chosen shop. Users who already unlocked the other one? They need to invest double that, leaving little room for error, choosing the alternative for more DB/humans killed and likely only unlocking the shop late in the month.

Why not just add an item that resets your Good/Evil bar to zero?

I feel this is fairer than an item that just switches shops for you, but it halves the amount of Good/Evil needed to switch sides. It also gives users content with their shop choice and work in previous years the right to abstain from the grind, while not putting too much pressure on those looking to switch.

I honestly enjoy having the shops open from day one if users put in the effort last year, and either way the Peddler still needs to be unlocked for the real stars of the show (Buffies), so there's community involvement regardless.

I'd tentatively say it would be available in both shops, so users at least need to unlock one before switching or trade for it. It shouldn't cost too many CB though, because why make switching shops easier if you won't have anything to spend there?

If we can give V'kai a Mummified Heart to change which groupies we get, I figure something could pull this off.

EDIT: Detective had a great suggestion for the name: Cleansing Salts, fitting both with the event (a handful of salt lake BGs) and with the Cleansing Ichor item that resets your Karma!
