Will post screencaps tomorrow! So basically in chat, the question was brought up about how honeycomb expires when honey doesnt rot. I replied that a swarm of flies slowly takes it over. Someone else suggested that they eat it, gain stats, and come back for our lions!(I will credit everyone in the caps) So what if we had a June encounter with a swarm of flies, in a snakey shape? They could even be tsetse flies (South African biting flies)! Here's a link that provides evidence that they could be attracted to sugary syrups, like honey: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1567134815003925 |
