So the month is coming to an end, and I'm sitting here looking at my event currency. While I only have about 50-100 bones across both accounts, I have around 1500-2000 beetles per account. This is kind of a bummer for me because it seems to me like Carrion Beetles are not as...helpful, I guess? Of a currency as Dry Bones are. I'll be honest, part of it is because I was a moron this month - for some reason my idiot brain thought you could use the carrion beetles in the peddler shop, so when I popped in to try and get some buffy balls...egh. But while I've been finding a shedload of beetles, wasn't having as much luck with bones. It kinda sucks, because you end up having to choose between the studs or hoarding up an egregious amount of bones to try and scrounge up for those pricey buffy balls. Even when playing Fire Escape, it rewards you with about three times the amount of beetles as bones.

My suggestion is that in order to combat this would be the ability to exchange carrion beetles for bones, or vice versa. Currency exchanges are implemented in some other events - why not this one? I could see it as an exchange of about 1 Dry Bone = 3 Carrion Beetles, or 10 Dry Bones = 30 Carrion Beetles, since from all the stuff I've seen (Fire Escape prizes, event stud pricing) it seems like 1 bone is worth about three beetles, give or take.
