Of all the doom and gloom of September, the scariest thing isnt the decaying, rotting lions or the Horses. The scariest things are the Harbinger's quests. Have you tried gathering 20 Omens? It takes 3-4 energy bars, and don't even get me started on fighting the damned Prophet. Hes never there when you need him. Therefore, I'm making this suggestion: Mark of the Prophet. What is it? It's like Snake Scent, but for September's event. The Harbinger has collected some special items and, using his natural gift of sensing evil and destruction, imbues the concoction with magic. He uses this nasty sludge to paint a special sigil on your forehead, which will give you his acute sense for destruction. In non-poetic terms? For 30 minutes you have a higher likelihood of finding Omens and/or the Prophet Lion. It can either sell in the Harbinger's shop for 2-5 ET, or perhaps you craft it by bringing 1 Water Herb, 1 Skull, and 5 Locust Wings to the Harbinger. [Does this seem too simple for you? Refer to this.] If you disagree, please tell me why. Please. I'm dying with these quests and it's only day 2. |

I like the idea of Harb enhancing your ability to detect omens, so i’ll support for that, but I feel like it should be mentioned that the struggle is arising because Hard mode quests were selected. The easy solution is just doing Harb’s Easy quests ^^ You still get While Hard mode maybe shouldn’t be nearly impossible (read, time-consuming and stressful) to complete, the easiest thing to reduce the stress/frustration would be simply doing easy quests. <3 (Edited to correct ET amount, my head is in JB mode xD) 0 players like this post! Easy: 5 ET, 10 JB Medium: 10 ET, 10 JB Hard: 10 ET, 15 JB, 100xLVL Exp While it clearly wouldnt be worth it to some people, the extra JB is 100% worth it to others, plus the experience for us who want to stat grind. I do see where you're coming from, so perhaps instead of a simple recipe, it could be a tad more advanced? That way those who are grinding dont get off the hook. 5 Water Roots (for the base of the concoction, of course), 5 Uses of Food (something to do with death? I dont know, I'm just trying to create something horrifying enough to invoke Apocalyptic powers), perhaps a lion sacrifice, and a Lion Skull to hold this horrifying concoction in (in the Item Picture, the bottom of the skull can be used like a bowl for the sludge). Would it be worth it to Easy mode players? Probably not. Worth it to those who are grinding that JB or Exp? Very much so. 0 players like this post! Like? Sounds decent to me! I'll admit that my experience not being able to finish the Hard mode last year made me just chose Easy quests from HB this year; i'd personally take a guaranteed 5ET/10JB (last post updated to show correct ET amount, obviously my head's in JB mode lmao xD) daily rather than a chance at 10ET/15JB/100xLvl exp. If there was a way to increase chances, i'd definitely go for it, though. :3 EDIT: Found the suggestion for a basic item to increase the chance of event encounters, thread here. I like the idea of having a September-specific method that ties into the storyline because the need for it is obviously here this month, and the item/boost you're suggesting would specifically boost the chance of the Quest encounters, but if we can't get it added due to the added game art/development needed then maybe that would be a good alternative? 0 players like this post! Hmm. You're right, it would be a good alternative. It would be a good alternative, though I prefer this (since I find certain months absolutely do not need more encounter opportunities - I dont want to skew markets even more). I was thinking about making suggestions relating to the October month too, since that's usually the other event other people complain about. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sweet mercy, please let this be a thing! I don't want to be forced to take nothing but easy quests just because the stupid Prophet Lion decides to avoid my account for 30+ hours again. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support, but not for eldritch tokens. You can only earn a max of 10 ET per account per day and that's only if you take a medium quest or harder. So having it cost ET would somewhat ruin the point of having such an item in the first place. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Katia You're right, but I couldn't think of another way (other than crafting, of course) to make it only available after you personally unlock the Harbinger shop (as I think the storyline is pretty easy anyways) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah I like the crafting idea, though maybe not for lion skulls since an earlier quest wipes out of lot of those. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support. Before this quest I ran into that lion all the time but suddenly Inc that quest turns on he vanishes. A hundred years later and a new prophet lion appears (I couldn't help it the reference was just too good to pass up). But seriously it's one thing for an npc to not be common throughout and another for it to once be common then hard as all get out to find. 0 players like this post! Like? |
