So like. I'm making this suggestion about a thing I didn't even know EXISTED in any functioning form until the other day.

A showcase is... well... a showcase. A little room to put items into, for either sales purposes or just as a place for collectors to show off. And it's a thing we have currently in-game.

My friend Bear pointed it out to me, recently, and asked if I knew anything about them. It took me a second to even FIND what he was talking about. Finally, I spotted it at the bottom of my den page:

Clicking on it gave me this screen:


...So, I figured it was broken.
BUT, upon some digging, I found the wiki page for them here. All the images are horrendously broken, but the link at the top of the page works fine. And it leads directly to where you can make your showcase.

The cost is a little steep, 4gb, but it's likely this hasn't been updated since roughly 2014-2015. In fact, my friend took it upon himself to open one up, and it just makes that theory even more viable. Image is clickable!



...Yeah. This is what we're looking at. It's uh... No offense, but it's archaic! The art is practically covered in cobwebs, and the buttons are kind of... Ahaha. We're not gonna worry about it. But it WORKS. That's the thing that's so shocking, it's almost like the option to pay 3sb to see your lion as the opposite sex. It's SO OLD and has gotten no attention in what feels like years.

"So, Dogepauus, what are you even getting at? Where's the suggestion part?"

Well, it's right here! I think that the showcase needs a revamp. It needs a new background and buttons, a fixed link, a lowered purchase price, and for people to actually know it EXISTS. I mean, think about it. Instead of slowly taking screenshots to all your hoard, bam. Everything you're offering for trade or sale can be in that showcase box. OR, say you're a collector like my friend. Wouldn't it be nice to show it all off? I think this is like, an actual good feature, I remember liking it in some other pet sims.

So, yeah. TLDR, holy shit, these exist and actually have a (in my opinion, needed) in-game purpose, so why not fix them?
