I do think probably 5 of each would have been more achievable for newer and casual players if it had been like that from the start.

Then again, literally every time there's an app or whatever that's relatively cheap/easy to get, people complain that it's too easy and say they want things to stay exclusive and valuable. So they can't really win, there's always going to be someone who thinks it's either too easy or too hard :/

5 apps is 150 shards though. Lots of casuals don't even have that much let alone 210. The fault lies partially with staff; instead of hiding numbers, people need to know beforehand so can they plan accordingly.

This shot in the dark stuff is annoying. I imagine its rather disheartening to get 100 shards, reason its enough, and then learn its not even half of whats needed 8/

Yeeeah I've got just over 100 shards and there's only a week and a half left of this event. I'd say I've been fairly active but at this rate I have 0 chance of crafting the app unless I buy extra shards or apps off other players

I agree with Myr (#188). I think it's too late to change it now, because people who knew they could not make enough shards also already bought/crafted other stuff, so they'd need to be refunded as well.. I guess it's easier to just reduce the cost next year.

Yup. Apps are selling for 3-5gb. Multiply that by 14? 42gb - 70gb. The app is only going for 30ish rn last I looked so

Huge support! For your average casual player that has say a job, class, and/or family this is an insane amount of shards. I get that it's supposed to be a challenge, but it shouldn't be impossible. OR the amount of shards needed should have been public info at the beginning of October instead of shocking casuals when it's too late to grind for it. If it was meant to be this difficult it should have been similar to the Solaris quest, ultimately. If a couple is 2, then few would be 3-5, 7 is a lot. And the excuse that the apps have been in the game for years, is at best a wack af attempt to justify this. I know very few people that are hoarding mane apps, let alone a ton of them when they aren't huge profit makers.

Considering everything, the app is definitely going to go way down in value once the month is over, probably around 10 GB tops. 40-70 GB is crazy (this is considering how much each mane needed to craft the app costs).

honestly super disappointed with how costly this mane is. it’s nice that it will be rarer but it’s no fun to 1) not have all month to plan & grind for the required shards & 2) to not even be able to craft one app without buying from other players. my accounts combined i’ve got about 150 & ive been really active (for me). especially when there’s 3 other apps available for shards too? like?
