Rough wip, just wanted this written down before I forget about it. I propose that lionesses have their own hunting ability traits, the same way lions have personalities. Each attribute will give the lioness a boost OR a decrease in whatever that trait is representing. A basic example could be something like; Hunting Attribute: Stealth Hunting Attribute: Impatient A lioness with the 'Stealth' attribute would be a quieter, sneakier hunter, so logically they would have a higher success rate - therefore, the Stealth attribute would give a percentage boost to hunting success to that lioness. An impatient lioness would be less careful, and prone to pouncing too soon, which would mean they would have a percentage success drop in their hunting results, meaning they might be more inclined to not bring anything back. Here is a quick list of potential attributes (please feel free to make your own ideas and post them below, too!) Hunting Attributes Stealth - Higher success rate Impatient - Lower success rate Adept - Chance at random +1 stat gain Keen - Requires a lower total EXP to gain levels Clumsy - Will return with scars more often than other hunters These are just a rough idea of what could potentially be implemented, but I feel like it'd be a fun little additive to hunting, and making the hunter role more specific. Just like people, some lions are better at things than others ![]() Additionally to this, I think it would be neat if they were heritable through personality breeding - i.e, Hyperactive x Hyperactive could result in the "Keen" attribute? But this is just a loose potential. Randomized traits would be just as fun. - Could also potentially be room for an Oasis specific/Event specific or Black Friday specific item that could be purchased to change this hunting attribute, the same way you change lion personality. I have no idea if this is able to be coded or makes sense, but comments, thoughts and ideas are welcome - I'd love to hear any feedback, even those who don't support :) Thanks for reading <3 |

I like this idea but I think you posted this in the wrong game development section ![]() |
