I thought it would be really cool if secondary bases existed. The color would be ticked through the primary bases fur, creating a really unique lion. This will not effect previous existing lions at all, and you would not have to change anything to avoid breeding a secondary base onto your lions cubs. Only lions who already have or have added secondary bases can have a chance to pass this to their offspring. I'm thinking we could implement it into the game through raffle lionesses or an applicator.

Yeah this has the potential to create really ugly lions, but if you wanted to have the secondary base removed it should be done for a price at monkey business, just like removing a mutation.

*This isn't finished and I will need some help from all of you to make this possible! I need some people willing to do the mockup art for it and some added or removed ideas to this.

*If you're confused: the lions genetics will stay the same but the addition of the secondary base/coat will change the appearance of it. It will still be the same coat, hidden/blended under the second one.

Do you mean something akin to incomplete dominance?

Yes something similar to that. In hamsters this specific gene creates a new appearance but the base stays the same. Im not sure how to describe :)
