I know this is probably something people might disagree with..
But i really think that the item uses on decor/clothing items are unnecessary and makes it annoying to ever buy items for common users.

- If i want to switch items between lions, it eats up right away.
- Its understandable for for more normal items, but for clothing and decor it makes no practical sense other than annoying the bejeebus out of you when an item has no more uses.

Of course this might just be me <3 And if it is ill suck it up, but it would benefit everyone if decor doesnt have limited usage.

No support. Décor has uses to encourage players to participate in the economy, and presumably to help with storage space. If all décor has unlimited uses, there would be no reason for users to ever want to buy it again, aside from the fact of having multiple copies for multiple lions. Aka, half the stuff on site would essentially become obsolete if décor had unlimited uses. When an item runs out of uses, you have to go buy another copy. There are already so many copies of some of the decors on site that this would just take up much more server space (especially with explore drop décor) because it would still drop, but never disappear from the server if it had unlimited uses.

I understand what you mean! And i also get why you dont support it <3

But wanting multiple decors for different lions, is good enough reason for people to want to buy decor items.
And i would even wager that to the common person, the item usage being limited might even discourage people from buying items, thus actually lowering how many people are actually willing to buy decor items for their lions. The impending knowledge that your item is gonna dissappear at some point, say if you want to switch items between lions or change your mind, is just plain annoying for the player.

But in terms of server space and usage, i have no idea how it affects the servers if, hypothetically, people had unlimited usage for their decor items.
But in my mind it wouldnt actually take up more space? since there is a constant stream of people getting new decor constantly, I´d say that the same amount of traffic would still occur on the server. Think of it as: People constantly getting new versions of the same decor = People steadily buying/earning some new decor w unlimited usage. Essentially bringing the same traffic to the servers.
Of course thats just what i would expect in terms of website traffic.

In my personal opinion it just also feels kinda unfair that it means you constantly have to buy new decor items for GB if thats your thing, rather than those essentially being on your account forever.

I'd just like to point out that people getting new decors is not the same as the server storing all those decors-- there would be a slightly lower amount of new decors being bought but all those decors would have to be stored forever on the server and that's a shitton of space that would get taken up. Similarly to how most lionesses who are chased off are deleted rather than put into explore as claimable lionesses, and how you have 7 real-life (not rollover) days to reclaim a lion who has run off, decors having limited uses is a system that mitigates the amount of server space used up in storing items/lions. If decors had unlimited uses, the storage space needed to keep data for all of them would just keep growing and be completely unmanageable. There would be no way to get rid of any of it.

Also, I'd just like to point out that in Lioden's time frame, if you equip a decor to a lion and then unequip it a few days later, that's several ingame months that have gone by. Clothes would have some level of wear and tear, animals would grow up or die, etc. It would actually be more unrealistic for decors not to have uses in the sense that after an IRL year has gone by, 365 months (around 30 years) have gone by ingame. It's completely unrealistic that clothes and jewelry would sustain usage without being damaged in some way after being worn around by one of the continent's most well-known predators for that long.

Decors having unlimited uses would devalue so many decors and make any sort of market for them completely vanish. People spend at least 10gb making custom decors, and a lot of time and effort getting them to look good. Having their hard work become completely useless because it can just be passed from lion to lion without any repercussions would be devastating to them.

That's just my two cents, but I'm gonna have to no-support this one :/
