Hello! I was searching around and couldn't seem to find a suggestion like this but forgive me if there is as I didn't look through all 17 pages ;O How this came to mind: I was scrying my triple rosette leopon wanting to see some possibilities! I know that leopons get a stat deduction so you can see it in the scrying stone. I just got lucky a couple minutes ago and scried what I think was a leopon! My only problem is, there's no way to know for sure. For all I know, it's just a really low stat lion! My suggestion is actually SHOWING the mutations in the stone! I'm not sure how much coding it would take, but it shouldn't be too hard as the lineart already exists and all that would need to be coded is the image lineart changing when the stat deduction is given/pon mut is rolled c: If you do not support, please let me know why so I can tweak this thread so that it makes a little more sense ^^ ________________________________________________ Some people are saying that adding mutations would be a 'trap' and just make people spend all their SB on possibilities. They are also saying its an SB drain! Thank you for the feedback but I'd like to say something (I will be replying to all reasons why this should not be implemented) ^^ How exactly would adding mutations be a trap? If it would, that would mean the current version of the stone is also a trap (which some may argue is true)! All I have to say is that if you WANT to spend 10k SB scrying over and over again, go ahead ![]() ______________________________________________ Suggestion by Kiya! As mutations CAN cover up markings/bases, there should be a "Disable Mutations" option! I'm not completely sure if this should be a button on the scry with the mutation (so you can toggle on/off to see the mutated version AND the non-mutated version) or if it should be an option altogether (like the disable css option in your den) but I suppose that would be up to LD Staff! I personally would prefer the toggle version but I think that would require a bit more coding, so again, its up to the staff ^^ |

In this case, Pon cubs are roughly 10% the stats of their siblings- so if you were seeing cubs with say 30-60 stats per trait, and suddenly see one with 3-6 or so per, that's 100% a pon scry! <3 But this would definitely benefit mutations such as Primal variants or Piebald- as of right now the only way to gather data on the pass rates is to just mass breed, which is difficult and hard to measure once you start killing duds. It could also add a bit of excitement to Scrying for giggles. Last I heard, the Scrying Stone runs the same script as a normal breeding does, just with generating the cubs turned off- not sure how hard getting the lineart to cooperate would be, but I think it would be a fun update to a feature I spend way too many hours a day playing with [both testing and scrying my pons with my favorite studs, hehe] <3 ![]() |

It would add a fun surprise to scrying especially if they added in the other mutations chance of rolling "Just going to scry this 1% lady and see what I would get with this king..... what? Oh wow a dwarf! So cool" ![]() |

This makes no sense. The scrying stone just shows a bunch of genetic possibilites from a potential cross. Not what you would actually get. Any female pon, for example, has a chance of passing on pon, but that would bear no relation to whatever stud she was crossed with. Like if you want to see what a mutated version of a particular scry result would look like, chuck it in the wardrobe ![]() Edited on 29/12/19 @ 16:55:05 by Simbelmyne [clean stell ferus] (#35165) |

Thanks for the comment! I just thought it would be a fun addition! For example, there's no way to calculate the data of lets say, a piebald. I for one like calculating mutation results (currently do it through mass breeding) but I think this feature would make it a little easier c: ![]() |
