As it says on the title. An option in account settings to out-out of intensely gory, disturbing, or horrific decors. It could work a few ways: -Staff makes a list of decors they believe to be more upsetting than usual -Users manually select which decors upset them in the 1k+ list of decors -There's a group poll done to determine the worst -you can filter out decors based on the name/tag/etc In the end though, it'd work sort of like a permanent "Hide decor" option, hiding the selected decors from view. Thoughts/critiques? If No support, feel free to tell me why! NO, I don't accept "just don't look at it" and "lioden is an adult game" as critiques. Kindly refrain from those kinds of comments. |

Support only if the second option is implemented: "Users manually select which decors upset them in the 1k+ list of decors". Otherwise I don't feel a "block all gore" feature really serves the purpose this suggestion is going for which is to allow people to avoid certain decor that they find disturbing/make them uncomfortable to look at; not everyone is bothered by the same things. For example, a "block gore" option doesn't help those that are deeply phobic towards, say, spiders/insects or those that find body horror type decors that don't really fit into the category of "gore", like Vile Fangs or Arachnid Demon, disturbing. Otherwise, I don't think adding this would be worth the dev's time as it wouldn't be serving its intended purpose and think users would be better off finding an adblocker extension/app and blocking what they don't like themselves. To add on to this feature though, instead of having this be it's own separate page in account options - which would probably take far more time to code - perhaps this could simply be an added option in the Item Catalogue under that item's page as a search feature already exists in the Item Catalogue (I doubt anyone wants to manually sift through thousands of decor) and this could also be easily extended to custom decors, backgrounds, and potentially items from that page. 0 players like this post! Oh, putting it in the items catalogue is a great idea! It could, as well, be it's own page somewhere, or maybe another tab on the catalogue. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Can I suggest that for the specific filtering-out of decors, images for said decors are not included alongside the decor name (unlike how they're displayed in the hoard/shops)? (I feel this should be a given, but just to ease my mind a bit I'm going to comment this anyway) Having a way to disable triggering images and seeing said images while disabling them would be very not great. I think this should be implemented in a similar way to the wishlist system so it can be personalized to every user. For example, say you have a phobia of butterflies or rabbits. I doubt the game team would list those as high filter priority. When it comes down to it everyone has something different they don't like and they should be the ones in charge of it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I personally don't see anything wrong with the decor, but I'll support. Being able to hide it would appease both sides. I heard some suggest they remove the decor entirely, which I don't think is quite right either. For those that dislike having it, or are uncomfortable by it, this would certainly help. 0 players like this post! Like? |

^^ Also agree with Paradox, Entity and Jimmie. Perhaps being able to filter out certain decors/images of said decors would be useful. All gore or all insects may not be the best option, so you could manually choose what images are triggering for you. Although this is the first event I heard people have a problem with the images, there are other things that can cause people to wig out. (Like snakes and spiders, at least for me, lol), or the zombie/undead decor from a few months ago. The more comments I read, the more I think this would honestly be the best solution for both sides, so those that like the decors can still have them, and those that don't won't be bothered. 0 players like this post! I agree with this 100%, though it doesn't personally bother me I agree that it may bother some people and personal triggers need to be more important. :) Plus if some users are in a public place while playing LioDen I'm sure it'll help then also 0 players like this post! Like? |
