For the umpteenth time, I checked a few notification messages to delete but clicked delete messages instead of deleting only checked messages...at the same time accidentally deleting a load of unread notifications I really wanted to see.
Yes, this IS just a matter of paying attention to what you're clicking, but it's gotta be a pretty common mistake. I can't be the only one this frequently happens to? The buttons are identical in size and color, so it's easy to click the wrong one when not paying close attention to what you're doing.
Even a small change, eg making the buttons different colors, would help a lot. A confirmation pop up would be cool, too, when selecting "delete all" (not really necessary for deleting checked, I think, since you've had to pay enough attention already to make your selection to delete). Having a way to view or recover deleted messages for the past (certain amount of time ...30 days or so) would be awesomesauce, too, but I suppose that could lead to mucking up the server.
