no support, but only for right now. i looked at some resources for verbena plants and their different hybrids and colors, and ive noticed that flower color is one of the biggest differences. right now, i may be wrong, but it looks like you're somewhere between the texas rose verbena, and the brazilian variety, which produce pink and purple flowers respectively.

i think you could take this one of two ways, go full into pink, or go full into lavender, but i dont know if dipping your tostitos into both creates the best design you could make.

with pink you could use these references:


^^ you could go all bright pink, which might give fushia vibes, or go in with the more suble pink with the hints of white in the central focal area

with lavender i came up with these:


^^ i perfer the purple, ngl. i think it could make for a much needed purple base on here, and you could take it in the pulsar direction youre going in now with your original mockup, or you could blend more similar colors closer together to make a smoother overall look. i think with these references a darker, warmer tinge at the bottom/paws would be a nice touch to bring it back to the flower itself.

if you dont agree with my thoughts above and want to keep it like this, i'll give you some different advice. id love to see something explored in this mockup using a different lineart. also maybe think more about how the lion relates to whatever flower you may be referencing, i.e. "wheres the 'stem' of the lion?" and arrange the coloring like how nature itself does the job.

if you disagree with literally everything i said go off, live your best life, i still think youll manage to pull through in the support department.

overall theres a lot of promise in this idea and if this sounds condescending at all im so sorry!!! i just got finished writing an essay and still havent gotten out of the ~formal writing mindset~

TLDR: go either all the way purple or all the way pink
