these are really cute!!! I know beetles aren't a big part of the game, but I'm still really happy they're here (big fan, despite having a bug phobia). here are some other ideas:

* While examining larvae, [Male Larva] bit you! He'd better be a great battler someday.
* [Beetle] has been eating all the shrubbery around the beetle mound - better keep an eye on it.
* [Beetle] looks kinda pretty in this lighting, good thing you caught it!
* [Beetle] skitters around your paws, moving super fast for something its size. Is it... playing with you?
* [Beetle] decided it wanted to sit on your paws, maybe it wants to see the world?
* It was almost cute how [Beetle] didn't want to leave you alone, assuming beetles feel affection.
* [Female] was digging so hard you almost thought she was a battler! Fierce!
* You thought you lost [Beetle] but it turns out it was just behind you. Phew!
* You thought you lost [Larva] but it turns out it was just hiding deeper than usual. Phew!
* While watching [Beetle/Larva], you started really hoping no birds thought of your mound as a buffet.

I didn't mean for this to get so long, I guess I had stronger feelings about this idea than I thought, oops!
