This server is loosely based off of the Match Program in the Matched Trilogy by Ally Condie, an American young adult author, released in November of 2010.

The novel is a dystopian young adult novel about a tightly-controlled society in which young people are "matched" with their life partners at the age of 17. The main character is seventeen-year-old Cassia Reyes, who is Matched with her best friend, Xander Carrow. However, when viewing the information for her Match, the picture of another young man - Ky Markham, an acquaintance outcast at her school - is flashed across the screen. As Cassia attempts to figure out the source of the mishap, she finds herself conflicted about whether her Match is appropriate for her - and whether the Society is all that it seems to be. This book is followed by Crossed and Reached.

The idea of the server is to place our characters in what could either be their most successful or worst relationships while also exploring character development.

I am the new owner of matched, and want to kick start it again. Ive invited a couple of folks from here who butted heads with my admins or joined and didnt bother to even try to join which is really disheartening. Im finding my self desperate to find folks who want to join us and can understand our crude and blunt behaviour and become our friends. We arent out to actively make enemies but want to sort the fake from the real. Understand we stick to our rules.
