How would this work for mobile users? It is an interesting idea but I don't see how it could be implemented without slowing down your browser or cluttering your screen if you are a mobile user.

Well seeing as mobile users have no mouse to mouse over, there would be no difference for them. It wouldn't slow them down or clutter the screen any more than the screen is already cluttered, as there would be no change for them. It would be a feature for mouse users, to mouse-over hover and receive a brief descriptive text or simple phrase of what the icon means.

that makes sense, thank you for clearing that up! I do think that it would be helpful to have for newbies and with an option to disable it for regular players.

As a returning member, I only know what half of those icons mean and it bothers me that there's no "hover-over" explanation as to what they are.
