Daily 100% energy boost

What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
My once a day 100% energy boost got used up by me levelling up my Impression.

Please provide us with step by step explanation how this bug happened so we can attempt to replicate it. If it's complex, please include screenshots where possible:
My energy levels went to 0 while I was exploring. I decided to use the daily energy boost to get him back to 100% and before I went back to exploring I decided to level up my impression. When I went back to exploring my energy was at 10% as if I'd never pressed the energy button. Note: I did check and I was at 100% energy before I levelled my impression.
